I have less balance due than the gift card and it wont go through. So i end up calling in

Your videos got me to join AARP. I've been old enough, just never thought about it. Have a question...when paying using a gift card, do you have to pay off the whole amount? I put in a $100 gift card, said it was applied to the balance but when I go back in the full balance is still due. Tried the same gift card again with the same results. Just wondering if the whole balance has to be paid at once if using the gift cards.

Thank you for making this video. How do I pay the balance for my actual cruise? Am I able to do this if I booked with a travel agent vs. directly with Carnival Cruise?

Just tried this past two days and keep getting error message from AARP "We're having an issue completing your purchase. This however does not mean your purchase did not go through and your card may be charged a hold. Please try again or call (800 number)." Tried yesterday and today with different browsers and on PC and phone...won't go through and no confirmation..but they still charge my card??

Vacation begins when we leave home. Chill mode engages as soon as we drop off bags with docs in hand :) Thanks for the great content. Also for those that think they can outsmart the system- the drug dogs also are in port-going off ship and back on ship. Also note this- if you are applying cash or a gift card to the account DONT lose the reciept. Also don't discard that gift card even with the receipt. My son lost $100 in cash on a gift card I gave him to apply to his account because he threw the card away in the bathroom before boarding . Though the agent in the terminal said it would be on his account it did not appear and they WOULD NOT honor the receipt without the gift card number. MANY conversation attempts with the customer service folks (mostly email and telephone conversations) and he never got the money back, despite being told repeatedly that they would make it right. Trust but verity.

Do they have a max occupancy at Paradise Beach? I heard Mr. Sancho's was 450, but when we were there a few weeks ago it was definitely close to if not right at max. Not enjoyable at all- even left early. Wishing I would have tried Paradise Beach instead. Next time for sure!!
