Man you ever have any problems getting your rope down when you climb a tree with multiple branches?

You’re better than me! but part of the reason I’ve given it up is advancing without tether slack is darn near impossible.

I would not have rappelled down with the rop barely on the carabiner like he said. He should of used his linemans rope and tethered off (use it as a tether) instead of hooking up his rappel rig and descending. Fixed the main rope then descend

I'm glad you didn't get more hurt! Just one question...I see you have the knowledge and capabilities to understand the use of your bridge and tether. Why don't you use a second bridge and tether to go around branches? If your stick broke while you were transitioning around the limb with your linemans on you could have been seriously hurt or died! Just use 2 bridges and 2 tethers, I mean your linesman rope is already a tether. Just tie a second bridge.

Does the flat top catch your foot when you make that transition step from the bottom step? Someone reviewed the angled top and said it sometimes catch his foot doing so. I was wondering if the angle was the cause or just being that the top is made to offset more than the bottom step and it's prone to happen. Great video! I look forward to see your climb demo.

That’s too much work. Just carry 3 sticks and climb the tree. If a couple of pounds is what you’re worried about, then lose weight
