    Well done ladies, great little hike/tramp (whatever 😂). Great to see you getting out into nature. Love the ginger wine for the trail "you sore" "who cares". Looking forward to doing the circuit from Grey Road in November. Taking up your idea of oats for breakfast. Little bit of milk powder, cranberries and dehydrated banana soaked overnight 😊.

    Hi there. I like this video but how did you go there from Queenstown? By bus or drive? Also how did you come back to Queenstown from divide? Thank you

    • @jackieking1522
      @jackieking1522 Před 11 měsíci

      Bus from Queenstown to Glen Orchy which then goes to start of the Routeburn. Not sure how regular the service is. We didn't have to book and the driver was excellent. Across the other side, there is a sheltered bus stop with regular buses from Milford Sound to Te Anau and the long haul back to Queenstown. It takes hours... again was a good service and memory says it wasn't too expensive.

    Thank you for the beautiful video. I am booked to the Routeburn walk in early March. May I ask how long it takes to cross the Harris Saddle section (without the Cannon Hill) part. The altitude exposure in that section worries me a little. Did the trail feel too narrow?

    So the side of the rocks you fished off is usually the side of the point where the rogue waves hit. The other side does have more rocks to snag on but is definitely the better side to fish off of.
