First and final refresh of my SAS 4runner. this one is a full refresh. New 7.0 L LSX, Maximum Transmissions Reid superhydra TH400, Behemoth transfer case, complete gut of interior and rebuild, etc. I will post more videos as this progresses.

How was the SAS on this to do? not a lot of information on the 5th gen online, but I have a 2011 that im either SAS with or Long travel and cant decide because I cant find much info on the SAS.
not easy nor hard just time consuming with patience and planning. day 1 was cutting out the IFS and day 2 measuring a lot then ordering links. It was back on it's own weight in a few days. if you do 4 link front and back you need to change the gas tank.

Man that bumper is badass! I’m looking to have someone fabricate a tube style rear bumper for me because I cannot find a rear bumper I like and if I can have someone custom make a bumper for me it will be exactly what envisioned. Sweet rig! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

Wow that's a lot of change. What made you decide on the engine swap? What are you going with next?
watch for updates later this month and into January. Not a darn thing wrong with the stock engine nor the whipple supercharger I had. It was more than capable for just about everything I tried. Just want more.

Tube is really expensive these days. I woukd love to be abke to get that good but dint feel like spending a ton of bling just to practice. But wow yours turned out awesome!!

thank you. The gas tank is a replacement late 60's Chevelle if I remember correctly.

did you move the rear axle back ?...I've got 37's on my 4Runner....and have pretty much trimmed the doors as much as I am willing....Got 40's to go on it and preparing to move rear axle back a few inches.
Yes, the rear went back and the front forward. I think my total wheelbase is 121". We have trimmed the rear doors a lot, to the point there is no more to trim. On the driver side all the up to the gas cap door.
@@tquattror2258 Nice ! I have the RCLT front end so front is moved forward as well. I haven't had any issues so far with behind the rear wheels but yours looks like it has much more articulation than mine.
@@RubyOffroad4x4 sure, I have 16" shocks front and back. You can see the articulation well in this video. I've been to some local events and my articulation is about as can be achieved with a full body build and maintaining a good wheelbase.

Sure, but you would obviously lose your back up sensors and have to deal with that.

Thank you. I have the atlas 4 speed transfer case. The marlin crawl boxes in stock form does not fit the 4R well. Since I don't have the stock gas tank or exhaust, it could have been an option.

What axles are we looking at?
Crane 14 bolt shaved to 13. 72" long with Magnum knuckles.
V8 swap is all that is left to do. Nice ride.
