Testing the limits of the Hoosier W2 Wet tires in a 38-degree deluge during qualifying for the BMW CCA Club Race on March 1, 2024. No tire can handle the ponding and flowing rivers like we saw on the esses and back straight. The enduro for this qualifying was ultimately canceled due to conditions.

BMW CCA Club Race in December 2023. I need a pit crew. My 5 minute stop turned into 6 when my Apple watch didn't cooperate with timing. Aside from on track improvements, I'm disappointed with my camera output. Using a SmartyCam 3.

Early in my HPDE track experience, before I moved to a dedicated track car, I took my stock 911 C2S cabriolet for my first visit to Road Atlanta. An amazing track that truly demonstrated how capable the car is and how much I still needed to learn.

Pacing Virginia International Raceway with a 911 during the Porsche Club of America HPDE event in November 2020. This was the last event in my Z4M Coupe prior to upgrading to AP Racing Brakes and JRZ Pro remote coilover suspension. The brake fade was especially evident in turn one.

How do you like your upgrades? I am still running stock suspension and brakes, but I am wondering what pads you're using that are experience fade? My PFC 08 pads/stainless lines/RBF 660 is enough that even on hour long sessions I haven't experienced fade; now that said I do get some pad knock that causes a long pedal (especially turns 1 and 13 at VIR) but tapping the brakes before a brake zone seems to fix it.
Truth is, my S54 spun a bearing prior to me purchasing it and the previous owner covered it up. It revealed itself last year at Road Atlanta and it's been in rebuild mode ever since. The engine was sent to Lang Racing for a rebuild and cam upgrade. I'm excited to get her back on the track starting at Watkins Glen with Zone 1 in June.
