This trick works great for flexible stuff like foam, for wood and metal not so much, but other tricks apply there. Always good to learn new stuff 👍👊

Hi awesome video bro. for the passenger side camera, the slits at the bottom you made to use the other harness, do you have pictures showing how it looks when you feed the harness through? One more question, you bought the touring elite side mirrors for this diy right? are they cheaper than buying the touring side mirrors which have both the signal strip and the camera with it?

I haven't watched the whole video yet so Idk if you address my questions & comments. Maybe I'll edit this if you do. The best diffusion material I find is baking/parchment paper. Even only 2 layers of that is better than any LED foam/Plastazote or sanding you can do. Sanding is still a great way to diffuse but the paper is bar none the best diffuser for LED strips. Being that it's so thin too, it can fit in the tightest places, like if you were doing Iron Man's chest reactor or a lit belt buckle. The Cob LED strips I've found are all super power hungry and I imagine 15-16 feet of that has to have a huge draw. What sort of battery pack do you use with those Cob lights? Are you adding extra things into the circuit like...idk, capacitors or anything? Heat sinks? I'm not very electrical minded so idk how that works. I just find that batteries heat up a LOT when I use really long Cob strips. You could also mash some baking paper in the tips that are dark to act as light piping to help illuminate them.
