I drove 160 minutes to get here. This is the stretch of sandy beach in front of the station where my grandfather, who passed away before I was born, was stationmaster. My father spent a happy boyhood in a home by that station. Wakame seaweed grows in the shallow sea, and its smell wafts to the beach. What trips me out. Is when I make my son a bath. And see the ripples of water. But when stops. The water is flat. Is it the current of water that pushes water around. Or gravity. Rotation of the earth. I guess I could ask google.
