      Yup! I find that when I use double crochet the walls aren't quite as sturdy, but it still has a nice overall look.

      Hi there, when switching to a new colour complete the final yarn over of the previous stitch with your new colour.

    I have problems with my baskets…the yarn pulls to the Center…do you know why I’ve how to fix? I would love to see you do a whole basket with the wood bottom.

      Hi Lisa, I'm not sure when I'd be able to post a video of a whole basket it one go. If you find your baskets are starting to pull in as you crochet up, try loosening up your tension or switching to a larger hook size.

      Once I switch to my larger hook (I usually use a 10mm one), I just make regular stitches.

      I use a 5mm hook when I cast on to the wooden basket bottom and switch to a 10mm hook for the rest of the basket.

      They both look great in my opinion, but tshirt yarn is easier to work with and not quite so hard on the hands.

      One 500 gram roll of tshirt yarn makes a nice sized basket if using an 8" basket bottom.

    Wastecoat stitch? Should be explained as per where u can get straight up stitches. If inserted incorrectly, the stitches will b crooked. 🤪

      Thank you, I'm glad they're helpful! I find the t-shirt yarn is very sturdy when using the knit stitch. I've also used rope which I like a lot, it just gives a different look.

      I hope this helped a bit! Another way to hide the holes is to cast on how I show, and then for the first round do a single crochet back bar only.
