Small Batch Sessions is a video program designed to highlight and accentuate the outstanding talents of musical artists and roots music . Our focus for each episode is focused on the artist and the songs that they create from a personal perspective. This focus is archived through live multi-camera recordings and interviews captured throughout. The collected artwork that is Small Batch Sessions will then air on the regional public television, cable television, and this CZcams channel Small Batch Sessions. We bring to you the much-needed attention to the talent of the artists, the growing vibrant arts and business community in the Midwest , around the country and abroad. Roots music and how it is an influence is our focus . Thank you for viewing our shows and sharing the art and talents of these artists we expose to you .

Jake grew up with music in the family, and naturally he picked up the guitar when he was 16. Soon enough he had locked himself in his bedroom writing songs. Idiot.
When things were opening back up post-covid, Jake started making it out to play wherever they’d have him. Eventually he made some friends and he called them “The Waitin’ Rounders” after the Townes Van Zandt song “Waiting Around To Die”
Now they’re stuck with him..
