Patois isn’t a language. It’s a term for any non standard dialect of any region. It’s an adjective. Not a noun. He is speaking a patois English of Jamaica. You can speak a patois Italian or a patois Farsi, for example.

Claire Forlani's acting in this scene is awful.the delivery of her lines feel so forced and her facial expressions looks like she has a stomach ache or something.She definitely didn't need to be in the scene.

For such a small role this woman played such a pivotal role and probably one of my favourite scenes of the whole movie. RIP to her 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️ I am HALF JAMAICAN and feel BRAD did a great job with his PATOIS 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
