GATLINBURG 2024 Vlog #2 | Downtown Gatlinburg | Magiquest | The Island | Sky Fly
We are back again for another Gatlinburg Vlog!
I absolutely love Gatlinburg!!! The town is so fun to walk through, looking at all the little shops. And I really only saw one side of the road! We did some MOONSHINE testing which is so much fun! We then went to Magiquest to finish our quests!! We got ALL the runes! Then we went to the famous Island. Honestly... I was not really thrilled with the island. Maybe I was just tired...and full after eating at the Paula Deen restaurant. But I thought it was a lot of junk stores.. I thought they would be better quality. I thought the fine art store was really nice though. The fountain show was cool too. We did the Sky Fly ride.. .which is kind of pricy but I'd rather pay for the Sky Fly ride than the Jurassic ride. Not saying I wouldn't do the Jurassic ride LOL but I chose between the two. Its just like Soarin at disney world! It was fun and CJ never rode a ride like that so it was fun seeing his reaction!
At the end of the video i also reviewed the Walden, which was the hotel we stayed at!

Sickmans Mill is located in Pequea, PA, about 1 hour or so from Baltimore. Though pricy, it was worth the trip! The grounds are beautiful and the river was fast flowing and fun! The kids had a blast! We went yesterday too - senior day! That pork sundae was yummy - I enjoyed mine. We didn't go on any of the rides but enjoyed walking around.
I thought that was an awesome thing for them to do for seniors!! I agree, the pork sundae was really good!! Not sure if they had that before, but I never tried it, would def try again!

My family and I have been to this campground. It’s super fun especially at Halloween time. Everybody decorates their sites and they also have a haunted trail which is fun. Do the ceramics if you can that’s also a fun time
Yes this is my favorite fall camping spot ! My kids love the ceramics too! And I thought the prices are very reasonable for ceramics!!
I love the movie encanto but that just looked awful. I would rather watch the actual movie than do that experience. It doesn’t look worth $45 per person and personally I think you would’ve been better off using that money to do something else that is worth that amount.
@@pbg624 yeah I mean unfortunately the only way to really know whether it’s worth it is to do it, there weren’t many videos out on the experience back when I did it, But glad I could share my experience with you.
Not gonna lie your kids look kinda bored. And I was expecting a little more considering they are charging $45 per person. All you guys paid for was for actors who look like they didn’t even try to look like the characters to sing horribly to the encanto soundtrack.

I don't like how close everyone is it must be noisy and I would get a golf cart.
Honestly I never found it to be noisy, like I have experienced at other “lively” campgrounds - but I imagine maybe it depends on your neighbors ofcourse. Have never had an issue here though yet for me!! it is a pretty big campground depending on where your spot is a golf cart does help, we usually get one 1/4 weekends. Thanks for commenting!
Great Video! :) We also go every year...and LOVE it! I recommend checking out homeowners at ocean lakes ...houses for rent by owners...& some of those come with golf carts, which is very helpful in the summer..they go quickly & there's no "reserving". Also Halloweekends are very cool...Halloween decorations & trick or treating...:) ...Love from VA

That liquor store is fairly new. I think it only completely opened last summer. A lot of places are opening sooner and sooner now with all the events that are planned throughout the winter months. Pretty soon there won’t be an off season

Some places make it a challenge to get to with their opening hour schedules.
Yep, Only open M Tu W, we wanted to go in the summer and it was booked up so we went on a random Monday off from school.
The place looks small for 45 Dollars a person. I'm going Sunday to do a video tour for my CZcams channel. The amount of people crammed in there will make the video a challenge to film. I'll try out the Hot Wheels exhibit next month.
It is super small. And yeah on a weekend it’s probably crowded. We went on winter break, it was packed. Hard to film, as you can see. I’ll be excited to see the hot wheels but what I kind of seen looks meh too
