@@bjorgin170 all for you guys!

lol!!! I guess we will find out 😂
Man you give me courage to want to start like you but then I say tomaro then it never comes
Go for it! You have to start out in small increments. That’s what I did. Working my way up. You can’t think that you’re gonna start by running a marathon. Today is always a good day to go for a walk.
Hi! I’m someone who eats meat maybe once a week-ish? I’m not fully vegetarian, so I can’t help much with veganism, but here are somethings that have helped me- although these are super surface level 1. Don’t switch too fast to a fully plant based diet, as a sudden switch in the different food you eat can be super detrimental to your own health. Slowly over the course of maybe a month (or a few) start easing yourself into a plant based diet, starting off with replacing your protein for one of your three meals a day with alternatives. This helps with lowering cholesterol, but still allows you to maintain, or build, your muscle mass. Protein maintains and repairs torn tissues (from any movement) and makes them way stronger. More muscle means more caloric use, which means lower cholesterol levels, and therefore less risk of heart disease. So it is super important that rather than entirely cutting out different types of proteins, you should ease into plant based ones. Plant based protein options include -basically any type of bean (though some are better than others) legumes, and hemp seeds. Soy my favourite option though, tofu, edamame, and soymilk are all great cooking materials. Though veganism is largely promoted as a healthy alternative to a denser meal, you can also try easing into a pescatarian diet, as fish is actually super rich in nutrients. Meat isn’t a demonic food at all. Exploring different options help. 2. A large variety gets you most nutrients that your body needs. Most vegan or vegetarian people have a hard time with V-D specifically, so you probably have to take supplements for that. Iron deficiency is also a real issue vegans struggle with, so it helps a tad cooking things in a cast iron pan (Don’t go out to buy one specifically if you don’t have one though, a good one is hard to find nowadays, and super expensive if you do manage) or by taking supplements. Omega-3 acids are also super important, especially when you age more. Most people take fish oil capsules but I’m not sure of any vegan alternatives. 3. Make sure you’re not just eating fruits, I made that mistake once and my blood sugar went so high that I might as well have just had 3 bags of gummy nerds. More grains, especially a variety of wheat, barley and sorghum can only improve your gut health. Pasta dishes with pesto or marinara sauce can be made in so many different ways. A bonus would also be the longggg shelf life of box pasta. Marinara and pesto are different, but marinara takes about as long to make as boiling your pasta. Leafy greens are important, but so is your ability to eat them. I personally have a very stocked and varied spice drawer, some imported even. But you don’t need that. Just a couple of spices can churn out so many different flavours, sugar and salt also counting as spices that enhance your food. Leaves are really good at being mini tortillas, so if you decide to eat a dish like sautéed mushrooms (remember to cook just the mushrooms in the pan until most the water steams off to then add in oil), they make for a really great wrap. 4. There are vegan foods that are bad for you, but any food in excess is bad. Don’t base your entire life off of eating potatoes, tomatoes, bananas, or corn. Junk food especially, are made of either potatoes, some form of corn, or both. It is completely ok to have chips or sweets in moderation, but too much of any food, especially heavily processed plants, lose most, if not all nutritional value. If you want, or are craving chips, its better to eat it than to suppress your bodys desires. A healthy diet can turn ugly really fast, and quickly spiral into an eating disorder. Junk food is not nutritional, but if you wanna have some, go ahead. Just don’t drown in a sea of Swedish Fish. Just because it’s vegan, doesn’t mean it’s healthy. 5. If you decide that a vegan diet doesn’t suit your needs or your goals, its ok to quit veganism. Plant based might not be your inherent goal, and its okay to switch to something else you think could be better for you. Just remember to also ease out of veganism if it doesnt suit you. I was vegan at one point, but I missed having eggs too much to commit, so I started to have eggs more and more. They’re such a versatile form of protein. Its okay to eat meat when you are on a plant based diet too. Its fine to accept the costco sample of bbq pork once in a while, the goal if for health, not mental torture. You’ve probably heard these things before, but I do hope I helped in some way. Best of luck!
Good job man! Keep up to motivation.

Why do change the language? The order freed ‘slaves’, not ‘enslaved’. Downvote.
Because if you understand the difference between the two words, slave means that it was the core of their existence. The word ENSLAVED places at the core the person that was there. They were more than a slave, they were people. Just stating “slave” degrades their existence to the core.
I had always wondered about the circumstances of this holiday considering the slow spread of the proclamation itself. I found this very educational, and I hope this comment helps tilt the algorithm in your favor. Thank you

Good to see everybody out here who tries to help these students.
I'm not sure who you teach for but I genuinely appreciate you posting the lessons publicly for free. I remember learning AP World History but god it's been 4 years and you're helping me exercise my brain dealing with academia again. Thank you.
My pleasure!!!! I simply do it for my students!
@@EldridgeHistory they might not appreciate it necessarily as much now, but they will in the future. I really miss school and learning and it's always lovely coming across stuff like this, but they'll soon understand just how special it is to be able and go and watch their old teacher teach them the same lesson they were taught 10 years prior. I'd love to be able to do that.
Whoa
Epic
Indeed.
