Just got my c8 2020 CMG with 9k miles with a lot of options MSRP was 111k priced at 80k got it for 74k with a 29k trade in on a C5z. Really hopping the market bottoms out a bit but I’ll prolly lose like 4-8k In depreciation in a year. How much yall think the c8s will go for ina year?

Imo the best way to get you dream car if you cant full afford it completely is to get a similar car and build it up then sell it. Then you will see what the real cost is. Its definitely time for me to invest theres no age limit to invest.

You have so much to learn about money. There is absolutely no reason for you to finance this car. Just because you can afford the payments doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. You need to learn about delayed gratification. Driving your so called dream car at 22 is crazy. You haven’t worked for it to truly appreciate it. It’s cool though, in ten years you will look back at this purchase and realize what I’m talking about. That money should be working for you in some sort of investment. They you use the dividends to purchase toys. And I’m not talking about the fact that you own one rental property. That is level 1. Best of luck.

That's funny you said something about rocks flying up from them trucks because I've had 2 rocks fly up and bust my windshield just in the past yr! I literally just bought a brand new windshield for my sonata because a rock busted the bottom corner driver side of my windshield and it literally just happened again maybe 6 months after I bought my new windshield. I dont recommend buying a hellcat counting on CZcams. Buy it if you have the cash up front payments are not worth it. Remember they will take that car back if you miss payments so the best way is to just pay it off this is the only way i buy cars now makes life so much easier. then you can focus on buying mods instead of car payments. Or just enjoy it stock and bank that money you would otherwise spend on payments good luck out there.

good points but the cars are too dam heavy, you have to do quite a bit of mods to keep up w/ other lightly modded sports cars. my buddy has a stock 18 hellcat and that thing loses more than it wins from barely modded cars. he lost to a 10spd 19 mustang w/ a tune. like what?

I got a 2024 for 66k before the price jump. Bare bones 1LT. I didn't have any credit history other than cards but I had a 760. I put down 33k and pay 613 a month. I got high 7% through GM. GM also allows you to pay on principle tho which is nice. For insurance I found Travellers to be the best insurance.
