Inflation will have to be fixed. The government will not be able to sustain itself with high interest rates. Just Medicare and Social Security with adjustments for inflation will start to crush our budget. The only way out is to lower the interest rates and inflate the debt away… What do you think?

I find the China growth story very interesting. The next few years will be very interesting. Their real estate crisis is gaining momentum and will play out in the next 3-4 years. Industrial production is being stimulated by the government but there is weak demand. Chinese have been trying to dump their products at low prices all over the world. They do it to keep people employed.

I remember that you don't share the same view of lower rates like Dr. Hunt, but, I wonder if we have moved to a Secular Bond Bear Market as Mr. Bianco has stated he feels happened in March 2020. I do remember 1970's inflation and I'm a big fan of Dr. Hunts and probably 51% on his side and 49% on the side that we need to correct what the CBanks should have taken the Pain in 2008-09..but, not politically palatable and we're dealing w/the consequences now. Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Linda Wilburn, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

It should be obvious why Canada and European countries are cutting interest rates. Their economies are much weaker and they have short-term mortgage rates, unlike the US. If inflation ticks up again, these economies will really be squeezed.

Rick Rule (experienced resource investor) has an explanation for why gold mining stocks haven't performed as you might expect, given the higher gold price. Just from memory - there was a period (early this century?) when the gold price went way up (6x, I think), and at the end of it, the free cash flow from gold miners was less than at the start. Management has generally been replaced, and RR is bullish on the gold miners. I think he favors the royalty and streaming stocks (the big 2 are Franco Nevada and Wheaton Precious Metals), and probably a select few miners and explorers that meet his standards and match his fairly-high risk tolerance. Theory suggests that marginal producers benefit the most from a rising commodity price, and that was what happened to gold miners in the 1970s. So, later when the gold price rose, investors wanted marginal producers, and that eroded the incentive to be efficient and to allocate capital prudently (a case of, be careful what you wish for), resulting in FCF not matching investors' expectations. I hope that's reasonably close to what RR has said about it.

Brent is absolutely brilliant, but I disagree on his take on silver. Gold is fairly valued at $2400. The starting point is never gold, but silver. Silver should always be worth a common labor' one day wage according to the Bible. If you think the minimum wage is $15, then the value of silver is $120, 8 hours x $15. The gold and silver ratio is 1:20. This ratio is from the Bible, meaning it is God's gold and silver ratio. Please read Old Testament Numbers 7, so $120 × 20 = $2400. Gold is close to fairly valued now and silver is still extremely undervalued at $30.5 currently. I expect Brent will lose money on his silver put unless there occurs extreme volatility. The sad thing is gold and silver dgkuld never have huge volatility. Gold and silver are money. Things should be measured and priced in their weights.

As long as there's excess money printing no matter how small, and there's more $ circulation than productivity you'll always have higher than normal (4%+) inflation.

Assumption is wrong about Trump spending. To have any chance of re-election Trump had to continue spending. If re-elected, he will be a physical conservative at the expense of a recession / depression but he knows excessive spending must stop (no matter what the consequences).
