Fiido L3 - Unlocked/Throttle Only Range Test (unedited)
I tested the Fiido L3 speed unlocked range test.
I rode 15 miles, real world test.
Started with 5 bars of battery, ended with 4, max speed of 24mph, average of 15mph. About an hour of riding.
I estimate I could get 40 miles unlocked throttle only in a real world test.

I took the Fiido L3 Off Road to see how it rides. The terrain was gravel, dirt and grass, how did it manage? Just fine. For best performance, I do recommend riding this in the street or any paved, smooth roads. Thanks for watching.

My Fiido L3 straight from the factory gave me brake issues, I adjusted and readjusted and cleaned. Nothing worked, until now. Upgrade includes Zoom DB680 and Tektro E10.11. Very happy with them so far as they work as intended. Squeak-Free Thanks for watching.

Are Zoom DB680 brakes / Tektro E10.11 pads compatible? Yes, appears so. I will test the results in next video on my Fiido L3. Because the squeaking and pulsating is starting to drive me nuts. This is the rear caliper, if the test is a success, I replace the front as well. Cheers.

Fiido L3 Ebike - Drink Carrier For Food Delivery?

A small cooler attached to a milkcrate to separate drinks from the food when delivering on your Fiido L3 or electric bike. @TornadoGarden thanks for the idea. The inside is plastic, attached by 2x bolts, 4x washers and 2x wingnuts. Simple! I used some foam bedroll cut outs for cushion and transport. Here is a Removable Milkcrate For Delivery or Cargo Mod for the Fiido L3. This goes on the small pannier rack and extends it for stability. I plan to use this for gig delivery like ubereats or doordash. about this range yes, 30-35 on real world conditions, hills, stops, etc. But 30 miles throttle only is very good at 20 mp/h.

I think I seen the D3 unlocks on CZcams. Some are the same method, let me know how it works out. However I find that 15m/h I'd sufficient on such a small bike. Either way, u will enjoy it!

How to unlock speed on fiido L2 anyone?
Do you know why odometer always resets to zero when o switch it off. I cant even count how many kilometres i ride on a one charge
I have the Fiido L3 throttle and the Fiido L3 controller. But not the cable. Could you tell me which wire connects to which wire. There are 4 wires on the controller side and I do not know which is the signal (green or white) the ground(black) and the 4-5v which is usually red on other ebikes. And the 4th wire is maybe a brake wire ? I know I need a Julet cable connector.

I can understand that. I was just intersted to see if the bike held up over time., battery etc. Any videos are good, I'll watching out when you post new ones.
battery was about where i left it months ago, about half, i rode around for 20 mins or so, charged it back up to 75%, all seems good. weather is heating up, so I will be riding it some more, I will report or any issues, and if I have video ideas I will post them! but i have been very busy.
I know it's an old video, but do you know if unlocking the speed also improves on PAS speed, or is the max speed only reachable through throttle only?
Hi, no the PAS speed is not affected. This is only max full throttle speed. The PAS levels stay the same.

I got about 30 miles unlocked in a cold hilly area (Bristol england) however by summer when it was very hot and i had lost about 20 kilograms of weight i got a extra 8 miles tho i could sonetimes get 40 tho at the tail end of the battery it was going so so slow lool Overall i think the L3 a decent bike for the price yet i think im better off with a mechanical bike like a 2nd hand brompton or a 20 inch folding bike. As i had so many issues with spare parts and it having only 40 miles whixhvis only go good for commuting but not so great for touring. Which this was suppose to do. But after 40 miles with a dead battery its the worst bike in the world!
What issues did you have with this bike and generally with the bike? Also From England and interested in this binw

Have you faced in headlight issue, i bought 1 week ago this bike when I turn on the headlight its seems very low lumens. After few minutes of drive it's giving more power.
I have faced one problem with my headlight when i turn it on it seems Very low. After a few minutes of drive its gave the full brightness.

Thanks for your video, and idea to use slotted angle iron. Instead of a standard milk crate, I used a red low profile Coca-Cola bottle/can crate that measures 18"L x 13"W x 4.5"H. It's mounted on my EUNORAU Meta 275 eBike. The lower profile crate is still fully capable of carrying three shopping bags as they naturally settle/nestle into the crate. I find it much easier to swing my leg over the lower profile crate rather than the taller milk crate.

Hi, my new L3 bike has a problem on the rear brake. It has a pulsating sensation (bumpy feeling) every time I brake. It feels like my body is bumping forward
Yes this is normal, the stock brakes aren't good, this is why I upgraded the rear, it fixes the pulsating issues

@@elektrotvtech I asked the bike shop, they told me that it was a bad rotor. Is it possible?
@@Sun-qg8ij I'm sure it may be possible. However the stock breaks pulsate and squeak, when I replaced them, this was no longer the issue. Everything you described, I experienced with the stock rear break, and front, but I have not replaced those because it is not as bad as the rear.

For my fiido l3 it feesl like i am pedaling air no matter which level assist I select and display shows 25 km/h. The assisted power is same on levels 1, 2 and 3 which sounds weird to me. I should be able to pedal more on level 1, bit leas on level 2 and lesser on level 3 but this is not the case for me. Is it the same case with your L3? Is there any way I can reconfigure the display or settings?
My fiido l3 doesn’t go below 25 km/h speed no matter what level assist (1,2,3) I select during pedaling. Can someone guide me whats wrong how to fix it?
Hi dude, the level assist does not cap the speed, it determines how much power you get behind your pedals, you should be below 25km/h on 1 pedaling really slow, if u put it in throttle only, a half turned throttle will be well below 25 km/h.
@@elektrotvtechno i am 25km/h on level 1, level2 and also on level 3 there is no difference of of speed when i am peddling using any of these levels. May be mu display is not working? Can you tell me how can i factory reset the display?

Hi, I don't think u can, they are not thin, any wider and it would not fit. The tires are decent.
Don't u think hydraulic brakes would work better ? Because I'm thinking about changing it too but can't decide between the mechanic and hydraulic brakes. Thanks in advance
Yes, they would be better, but these are almost as good and dont require worrying about the fluid in hydraulic.

Ty! Yeah it's a shame! All ebikes it seems have to make different limits per region. 15mph is still nice on this small bike, and it saves battery. I ride mine on 15 alot just to cruise.

Not many mod choices, you could get a front suspension fork, like the L2 had. The bike is fine on flat grass and dirt/gravel, but not ideal for tree roots or bigger bums and humps. If you take it slow it will be fine, but its mainly for flats of all sorts.

@@Silhouette_one You may want to check out the EMOVE RoadRunner V2 , its not folding, but it is on the smaller side and has front suspension. Its a killer ebike, but it is more of a scooter (no pedals). Most other off road ebikes are full size bikes with 20'' tires and heavy. The EMOVE RoadRunner V2 is 55lbs, good battery, and suspension, it does have smaller dimensions.

@@Silhouette_one Unfortunately nothing for offroad comes to mind, the L3 is really small, and with that comes small tires which are not great for offroad. the old L2 had suspension, you may be able to fit a L2 fork on a L3 which would help. I have considered this myself.

Had my L3 a few weeks now and have been exploring Ibiza on it... for the most part it's handled everything I've thrown at it and I love it. Got stopped by the Guardia Civil today which could have been trouble with the factory speed settings adjusted but thankfully they didn't probe me about the bike's specs! Your videos have been super helpful, thank you.
