Hey! Just finished watching your octopath traveler play through. Seen you played this one a while back so now you got me hooked on this playlist lol. I know in octopath traveler you said you really liked triangle strategy. Don't know if you've ever heard of it but if you liked this game there's another great game on steam very similar called tactics ogre reborn. Anyway I'm interested to watch this play through to see what choices you made that were different from what route I went. Looking forward to watching this whole thing. I'm getting a nack for watching your older games you played lol.

Hey, i just got back into this game. Replaying it because i never beat it the first time around. Good ol adhd never lets me fully finish games. Found your channel from your wargroove videos. And then saw you had a run up of this game. Gotta say i really enjoy your commentary in the games you play. And you play a lot of games i tend to be quite interested in. I know this series is a tad old by now but im enjoying going through it. Thanks for all the videos old and current. You do a great job :D

Wow! Sometime between your upgrade 1.5 and my upgrade 1.58, this map was really reduced. The entire front has gone, along with the first chest and half the enemies. Half that number of new ones were added towards the back instead, but of different types, such as firelords, thunderlords and champions. We now start with seven of our people in each of the two corridors. Varic, both here and in the 1.58 version, always does sword damage against DEF, even when nominally using wyrmrage (storm magic) at range 2. The proof of that is that the minus-80%-to-storm-damage Aspect is useless against his attack. And while he cannot attack at more than range 2, he does retaliate at 3 against snipers. So we have to face him the hard way.

In the lastest version you can capture it

I must defend the game devs. Garrick was useless here (cannot hit anything), not because the devs made him so, but because the player made him so - robbed him of his accuracy with Kitara's Chord, to make him dodge better instead. (I forget how many chapters before.)

how I imagined the final boss fight of the true ending to initiate: some sort of cool monologue or speech from Garl what we got: Garl throwing an Apple at the fleshmancer calling him a looser and getting away with it. and I wouldnt have it any other way.

This map has been seriously changed. Lets say in version 1.5, since I don't know precisely when (latest patch is 1.58). Same number of enemies, but a different mix, and more spread out around the map, including some we can go get attacked by in enemy phase, turn one. Escape on any map edge, top, bottom or either side (which makes the bottom edge the nearest way out). Some houses (for added interest) to form rearguard lines next to. Makes it possible to kill all enemies as they come up (in seven turns maybe) then leave the next turn having suffered no casualties. Reduced EXP from fighting, though, same as seen here. You had fun with the original version, but I can appreciate why they changed it.

39:00 Sara attacking shadow-Benji, "Yl'mar's Faith" shows besides him: this is a canard, a random bug falsehood. The 10 damage she does has NOT been reduced by 80%. Shadows do not have Aspects (nor Skills), and even if they did, it would be shadow-Elias who'd have Yl'mar's. (Irving as a knight is Sturdy, for extra HP, but shadow-Irving is not: that is why shadow-Irving's HP was reduced from the start.)

One of the patches - we are up to version 1.58 - removed the first five enemies from this big map and placed our team two to three moves further in. (Chapter 14 map, "Anchored Soul", the Temple of Hleric)

There’s a relic you can turn on that shoots a star out of your character when you get the action commands correct, it’s easier to notice than the subtle sound that happens
