Awesome knife! I completely forgot I have one of these still brand new in box bought on sale from Gpknives about six or seven years ago. Due to having and using Spyderco salt knives, I placed this Griptilian in storage and forgot about it. Thanks for sharing!
I love my Kadet and I have never had a problem getting the angle I wanted. I have the L adaptors as well, they are the best accessory I have for it. The universal table is also great for tools like chisels. I have also made some longer guide rods so I can use the full length of the stone for longer blades. I have so many diamond plates ceramic stones and strops for this system now it's very versatile. I will be using some old hard drive magnets to keep it from moving when doing the longer blades. Nice video thanks.
Why would the K03 be more professional or faster to sharpen with if the stones are the same?
Good video. On my fixed geometry system, I put heat shrink electrical insulation on the clamps. It's stiff enough to not let the blade move while making clamping much more secure and reduced the risk of scratching a blade.
A fine video. Thoughtful, measured and informative. Thank you.

Put a great night if I need to cut paper. Oh, wait when the scissors be easier
Scisors?! No! That’s weak! Hardcore only! 😁
Hyy bro❤
🤘
Wow you have an amazing talent I hope to be able to have a skill at sharpening as as good as you !
just buy one of these setups. its super easy :3
With some practice you can get there. I can film the whole process end-to-end and post it on the channel if that's of interest.
Yes, once you get your hand motorics right, your timing for working with each stone on every side correct, learn what stones should be used for each steel (and its hardness), what's the grit progression, what angle needs to be set for each blade geometry, what sould be the finish (synthetic, natural, strop compound etc.) - it'll be easy-peasy.
woahhhhhhh can you try this with magazine paper? preferably a Denver magazine?
It's a European newspaper, trust me, it's thin as air.
Imagine getting stabbed by that
That would be somewhat like surgery.
That was impressive
Thank you!
What would happen if i put my p- nvm
That's not advised. :D
Clean knife bro i rate it
Appreciate it brother! 👍
Pass, already got scissors for my paper
But this is more satisfying isn’t it?
Really impressive!
Thank you!
Just picked one up. God damn right!
Any idea where could get it.
I got mine from the Knivesandtools website.
Don't like plastic
I’s kind of alright for a work knife. For fiddling an EDC I agree there are better materials. 😁
I have EDC carried mine in the city lots but i use a belt sheath - I also have a Cold Steel Spartan in my pocket right now which I EDC lol
CS Spartan is a good blade! 👍
