Love this Authentic Discussion! Mid 60s now but mid 50s, I realized the "consumerism programming" and advertising - we're bombarded all our lives! Not poor but we didn't have a lot of money. When I started making $, I felt like - well, now I can afford these things - Wheeee! It was fun while it lasted but I look back now and wonder WHY was I so Foolish? Granted, I had a business and a hefty income, but still, no reason to waste! That's what I did, I wasted $ on Concerts, Theatre Tickets, Spurs Season tickets, Sea World, Fiesta Texas! Oh, and Charities. So busy working I couldn't volunteer so I gave BIG! Now I know the organizations were masonic so I'm REALLY Disgusted! I was Entertained to THE MAX and still socked away 25% of my income yearly. I realize now that I was PROGRAMMED TO BUY - That's Why I Stopped Cold Turkey! I only buy what I need - that's mostly food or seeds and soil to grow food 🙂

I try to work as little as possible (I wait tables) but I try to spread good energy, and I’m hoping to learn to sell my art soon!!

The physical body is the garment the soul wears for this earthly incarnation. The lives you touch and the hearts you open, during this incarnation, will carry through into the spiritual realm.
