Here's the first video of Guthrie Trapp and I, pre pandemic, jamming in my studio. We came up with groove and chord sequence right before we started playing. This is stone cold live, shootin' from the hip. Great band with Pete Abbot and Ryan Madora. More videos of Guthrie and I coming soon:)

Good description, ass
Excellent cover of one of my favorite songs
Buthol4 surfers drummer
❤❤❤❤❤
1st chord should be A major not A minor. Still an ok version
Kenny Greenberg!!!! Holey Moley! 🔥🔥🔥 Kids, that is what a 1st call musician sounds like...
Holy crap, that is all I have to say.
Sorry, no energy! Everything‘s perfect but the soul is gone.
Chris Stapleton is about the only singer able to do this song (and Gregg Allman’s voice) justice.
Loved this band all my life...they have that Hendrix vibe for sure!!! Billy bragging about his blessings of his time spent with his best friend...Jimi. R.I.P. Dusty, best bass man ever! "The soul of the band." "I may be old, but I got to see all the cool bands... LIVE!" 🎸🎶
Who's the bolded guitarist ?
It's Kenny Grünbaum 👌the Slide guitarist is awesome as well.
OUTSTANDING!!!
I discovered Pat McLaughlin about a month ago when I heard him giving an intro to a track on Rag N Bone Man's album Life By Misadventure. (Somewhere Along the Way). I was intrigued by his gentle voice, humility, and sense of humor, as he claimed to be unable to play an assigned part on the guitar and therefore had to play a tambourine when he was in Dan Auerbach's band. I have since been tracking down everything of his that I could find since I couldn't help notice that he is a fantastic guitarist AND singer. Thanks, Rag N Bone Man and thanks to you, Kenny Greenberg, for posting this. In addition to the great music, I loved seeing Pat's interaction with the audience.❤BTW, Kenny, your playing isn't too shabby either. Bravo!
This song is great but I miss the dual drummers that dual guitars I guess what I'm trying to say is often imitated but never duplicated RIP dickey❤
Wow! FIREEEE!
Great song from one of music's national treasures! Kenny Greenburg's guitar work is soooooooo good, a real artist! His blistering guitar work on a recent Billy Gibbons video of "Sharp Dressed Man," featuring ZZ Ward and Orianthi, here on CZcams was mindblowing! Check it out and crank up the volume for one of the best versions of "Sharp Dressed Man," I've ever seen!!!
Listen is this in 6/4 and in the instrumental chorus there is a 5/6 bar embedded? You know the spot
Taj Mahal on Harp...
Wow...
I'm not sure 🎉🎉🎉💯
BRAVO!!!!
Thank you algorithm for this
Wow the drums come in harsh. Other than that, fantastic
Ordinary harmonica.
Amazing!
WoW amazing performance on the song
Best 'all stat line-up' ever. With that much talent together, it can sound disjointed or even cacaphonous.
Do these morons know the lyrics?
No one in history has ever been tied to the whipping post like Chris Stapleton. Wow!!!
Beautiful!
Most musicians are super lucky if they just make it into the Big Time once. Ricky did it Twice with Iconic Bands that the World has seen and heard. To think not only being 1 of the original drummers in Skynyard but to leave just after cutting their 1st album because you wanted to play guitar more then to play the drums. For over 15 years I woke up to "Good Mornin" because I've always loved Blackfoot. I 1st met Ricky, Jakson and T Bone in a little upstate NY club called Manhattan in Spring Valley. My friends band had been hired to open for them. I was basically the hired muscle as I carried everything in set it up and tore it back down after they finished. We were all a bit nervous as it was their 1st time opening for a National Recording Artist. Nothing could be further from the truth. T Bone took our bassist off to the side and gave him at least an hours class on playing the bass. Jakson told our drummer to go play his kit and get a feel of his set up and explained how he tuned his kit to get that big rich sound. Ricky spent time with both our guitarists and took time to talk to each of us during the long wait until doors opened. Several times after we'd open for Blackfoot in many of the clubs in Northern NJ and the NY Area. I had a really long talk and fun day at a club called Connections in Northern NJ as we sat at the bar together watching Ollie North testifying before Congress giving each other our own opinions on the why's it happened. 1 of the Kindest, Honest, Open-minded Musicians to ever take to the stage. Hopefully when they swing through the Raleigh area again and catch up on things.
Have Mercy,Bil Gibbons!Thanks so much!GREAT!From Portugal!
At 2:29...Billy liked and approved that harp lick...
YEEEAAAHHH! "Gotta love that one." Fuckin' A right, Billy.
Great band and great voice of Chris Stapleton!
YEAH!
Been listening to this since I found it a few months ago. Great cover of the song, from a traditional standpoint, e.g. not a bluegrass version or a version with horns. Very decent sound recording, solid guitar solos and enough gravel on the voice to make it worthy. The version by the Brothers at the MSG show in '20 is probably the best cover, though it's arguably not a cover given who played that night. Great stuff here. Great, great solos.
Nothing worse than the band reading music. It feels so sterile. Chris is the only fluid part. Shame.
I came here for the Chris Stapleton but man that band is on frigging point! Love the tones from those guitars and the drummer
That is so fucking good!
superior version
OH HELL YES!
it took me a minute but that drummer is CHAD CROMWELL Google that bad ass!
Absolutely outstanding!
Nice Rendition !
One and only Gregg Allman......perfect
Was all great but I especially liked the ending singing of Greg!
This song can never be played loud enough fking amazing.
Chris forgot the lyrics
