@@patricia_marcoux wow, so how do you " lower" the base of the reed, for perfect parallelity on these steel reeds?. i can do it on brass reeds( suzuki, hohner, lee oskar,)have some customized syedels from Ben Bowman (,but always miss the 10 hole propper OD on a D E and F.. and ,more important the propper two blow-bends up there)😘
@@detharp I tried to place the zero point with the tip of my thumb or with the Zadjack tool. I ordered the Sleigh tool too. I Will try with that tool too the next time. After, I tried to shape a Little bit the Reed to get a better closing. I did my possible :) You don't have access to the 2 blow-bends (on the 10 blow) with a customized harp? By my proper customazing, Some notes are missing for me to, I was thinking customize harps are better for that details... Best regards :)

Bonjour Patricia, vous êtes la meilleure. Tu es une véritable source d'inspiration. Assez curieusement, je viens de suivre quelques leçons de Joe. Il a des chansons très intéressantes à apprendre. Je me demandais si vous aviez lu le livre d'Howard Levy : Rhythms of the Breath ? Je pense que tu pourrais l'aimer à cause des airs de "fiddle" (mélodies de violon) qu'il contient ! C'est un livre au concept génial. J'ai finalement personnalisé ma harpe l'autre jour et je peux à peu près obtenir les 7 et 9 overdraws (c'est-à-dire que je peux les jouer mais ils ne sonnent pas encore très bien). J'ai commencé à obtenir un overblow sur le 6, mais aucun sur les autres trous. C'est mon objectif. 2024 est mon année. J'ai mentionné il y a quelque temps que je pourrais prendre une leçon avec vous à un moment donné afin d'obtenir votre aide pour ces instruments. Serait-ce toujours possible ? Je vous souhaite bonne chance.

Je travaille sur Henry’s Lament, Deford’s Dream, Boogie instrumental et une autre dont j’oublie le nom… J’ai acheté le livre d’Howard et travaillé des lignes musicales il y a quelques temps, mais je n’ai pas terminé. J’aime beaucoup son approche. J’ai mis de côté quelques trucs pour le moment pour approfondir le monde du tongue block. Je suis heureuse de savoir que vous vous êtes lancé dans l’optimisation de votre harmonica et heureuse de savoir que cela porte fruits!!! Chaque avancement est une victoire! Faites moi signe lorsque vous serez prêt pour un cours 🙂 Il me fera plaisir de parler harmonica 🎵
