A Michigan hunting channel where we aren’t just in the outdoors, we’re apart of it!
We are a MICHIGAN HUNTING channel where we hunt all around the great state of Michigan, on Public and Private lands, while also traveling outside of the state to pursue big game as well. Self-filming is no easy task by any means, and we take pride in showing our viewers the rollercoaster of events throughout each hunt. We know that in order to be successful in a HIGHLY pressured state, it takes dedication and a little bit of luck at times. Therefore, we feel that we can relate to a lot of hunters out there. So come on out to Deer Camp and enjoy the trials and tribulations that come along with each season!

Hunting the early season
This week we are kicking off the new season with an early season doe hunt on the home farm here in Michigan! As always the boys seemed to of crashed the party spoiling our plans as legal shooting hours open. Now we'd have to sit back and enjoy the show as we wait for the does to show.

This week we head over the bridge and into the 906 as we get ready for Michigan's opening day of rifle season! Everybody's favorite deer camp is back in action and the guys are filling tags as we end up shooting a total of 7 deer during our 19th consecutive season together! Things start out on a high note as we head back to the field for the 16th season but it doesnt take long before the wolves...

IT'S DOE TIME on the farm this week, as Kyle decides to take a bunch of does to help with the overall health of the herd. With the Michigan DNR coming out with an open letter (09/21/23) to all hunters to consider taking more does this year, Kyle shows us that it not only is a fun time hunting them but it also helps with the overall health of the herd! Rifle season in Michigan is coming to a close and things are going down to the wire as Kyle has high hopes of filling his second buck tag here in Michigan. After a long pressured season Kyle is finally able to tag out in Michigan and Andrew is also able to shoot his biggest buck to date in Michigan as well. SZN 5| Eppy 7

After hunting the farm several times and having some close calls, Kyle finally is able to take down a buck that he was after at last legal light. Although the light was too dark to catch the shot on film we were able to catch all the excitement and the highs and lows of the hunt. This 11pt buck fills one of Kyles two Michigan tags! Man I love this channel it’s great too see some familiar hunting. The Camp and company of this channel seem like some real greats guys. This will be 3rd year hunting and hopefully my year to get my first deer and even better first buck. I’m hunting in Cheboygan county not the UP but it’s pretty close too the same terrain. Up deer herd Is dying out. I was up to my cabin last week. Foodplots not getting eaten, no tracks, to many bear and wolves!!

While I understand that the UP might not have a healthy population all over, where we are at we have a healthy doe population. And although this video is a few years old, we still are maintaining that healthy doe population in our area.

@@DroptineRidge unfortunately I haven't been able to be hunting since 2002,and lack of money, physical disability and just don't have the opportunity to be in the great outdoors but I have forever memories and they will always be fresh in my mind like it were yesterday.the upper peninsula of Michigan is my favorite place to go, and I have not been outside of the state of Michigan but it is what it is.i have plans to go back to the outdoors but just glad to just be alive and living. Your spikes look 200 lbs! I’m in Indiana and we have healthy deer but I’ve never seen 1 1/2 year olds so huge! Imagine what a Florida guy would think! Been watching your deer camp vids and getting pumped. Good luck to all this year!

From central/northern Ontario I love seeing the Deer Camp videos... with regards to the deer pole... we had the same problem... be sure to skin all/most of the bark off the hanging pole... will last 10 times longer...cheers and keep the tradition alive....
