Awesome. I've been watching your videos and I just love watching the pools change from green to crystal clear. And it's really cool of you to do this for him for free. How nice!!!! And what a great job you do on cleaning them. You really do put in the effort to get them as clean as you possibly can. If I lived in Florida I would definitely call you to clean my pool. Great work you do.

We have pool cleaning service come over and clean the pool...they told us our salt chlorine generator might not be working because there is almost no chlorine in our pool, but all lights are green on the generator, so do we just need to add more salt so it can produce chlorine or do we need to replace the salt chlorine generator? P.S: we open it up and it looks clean on the inside. We also just fill the pool with some water and we just have a rain storm.

I cannot get the damn lid off. I turn off the pump. Release the air valve. I take the the ring off, and I just cannot get that lid off. It's like it's krazy glued on there.

I had a salt systerm installed 8 mounts agon and the control pannel showed no out put, the unit was sent back to the suppliers who sent the unit had been running to long on height and burt out and they will not oner the garrentee,

Im not understanding why a dummy cell was installed. Could you just submerge your salt cell in a bucket to see if bubbled emerge? Why is therr a need to install a dummy unit?

I’ve been there with a few of my pools. Do you know how much in chemicals and hours you spent?

We just replaced our filters, and cleaned the Pentair ic15 cell with 1/3 muriatic acid as usual but the Inspector Cell light is blinking. We ran the diagnostic and it says the cell is at 60% life. Everything else is looking good but seems this means it’s not producing chlorine. Although the diagnostic displayed 60% life used, this is our fourth year with the Cell. Any suggestions, please ?

My Pentair cell is clean and salt level is Good but green flashing light says “inspect cell”. Took another look at it and it seems fine! Wuzuuup ???

My add salt light is on red saying i need salt. I had water tested and salt level is fine. I did have low chorine after big rain so i put chorinator on 90% Chorline level is still low. Any ideas?

Hey, great video. Is it okay to pour that water back into the pool? Does the calcium dissolved into the acid not cause any issues to the cell?

We have a 5,000 gal soft side pool. We got our levels I'm range on the test strips than added stabilizer- with in hours We have a swamp green pool! How do we fix this?? I'm at a loss

as long as you keep emptying pump basket which will get clogged up with vacuumed debris.

Why only use 1/2 gallon of muratic acid into the pool? With the heavy amount of chlorine that your pouring into the pool, should t you use a full gallon of muratic acid to the pool or more? Pls explain. Thank you professor

What brush do you use to clean your pools?

After a filter clean has been done (grid/cartridge) is there an easy way to close the top of the filter tank so it comes all the way down to the o ring? Most filters that I clean, I have issues with the top filter lid coming “flat down” to the o ring. (New o rings have been placed). One of my clients has a Pentair Quad DE filter and when I close his lid, there’s like a “spring” that prevents it from closing down all the way. What do you recommend so that the top filter tank stays down so I can place the filter clamp on?

I can get the over handle off ( off white in your video) but not the clear plastic lid with the o-ring. Any suggestions.

I had a problem with my pump, so I hooked a wet vacuum to the pool vac hose. turned it on while my son was vacuuming the pool and when the wet vac was full I turned it off and pulled the plug to empty it and it kept pulling water. Was able to finish cleaning the pool without turning the Wet Vac back on

What type of pole are you using?

You should buy a spin disk. It makes the entire testing process take 30 seconds. Tells you absolutely everything

I wish I saw this this morning before vacuuming my flocced pool. Watching some of it blow back into the pool from the filter is so disheartening.

Thank God you're a Genius! My pool filter, heater, pump was stolen from my property. This summer was too hot and you just gave me the perfect solution. I grow alfalfa and this is a perfect water system to use I have to plug all the ducts that used to go to the filters and pump and heater. :| . Gracias from Mexico

Yes my PowerFlo Matrix Haywood, pump lid is super stuck this year, please make a video for that. I cleaned out the top last year. I had this pump for 2yrs, but every year this happens, Help😂😂😂

Who has a area lower than the pool ? I don't I have a level ground and a inground pool so the trick doesn't work?

I love the vacuum idea with the separate pump and motor. I have an old one I am going to hook up for when the pool is in bad shape.

Looks good. I took it a step further and bought a pool pump (variable speed so I need less amps and just connect with a 12 gauge extension cord), bolted it down to a little rolling cart I made and connected the hose to that. The cart also has a little cartridge attached (not necessary but another option), so I can shoot the water back in the pool and just clean the cartridge (and not have to refill the pool). This allows me to just pull the unit out of my truck and roll it around the pool (Not a pool service guy but I service a few friends in my area). This obviously also eliminates having to mess with getting the end of the hose lower for water flow. Been working well for the last few years.

That’s a game changer I have a cartridge filter when I would vacuum my pool it would just blow back in the pool now it goes out on the ground so it makes cleaning so much faster but for above ground pool it’s a two person job because that hose gets heavy and you have to fight it

When you say effective chlorine do you mean free chlorine or total chlorine?

What should be the chlorine reading be at the chlorinator when cycling? Mine makes bubbles but only reads 1ppm at the return into the pool.

Can you disconnect the Polaris completely on the pump side and cap off in the pool? We have a leak under the concrete decking somewhere in that Polaris plumbing and want to wait until end of season to tear out concrete and replace pipe. we are losing water.
