I had a 35.839 earlier, so this was my second fastest run of the day. It was a chilly day with the threat of rain, and not a whole lot of people signed up, so everyone got 16 runs. Weather turned out to be pretty good. Great course. My first "top pax" of the year, but there were 30 drivers and I was the only one using tire blankets on a 50 degree day.

This run is remarkable because I money shifted ( hitting first gear when looking for third) and caught the car ahead of me.

This was not a great run, and I hit the second cone in the slolom, but it was Emils first run as a passenger in my car. He had just taken his first run, which was in the 51's, and this was in the 41's, so it helped him see speed of weight transfer and car capabilities.

This probably was the most fun session I've had at a TNiA. In, particular, chasing the yellow Z06 Corvette and keeping it in sight for a few laps.
Having a little fun in turn one at 13:40 I see. I ran intermediate, good to get out again after breaking during time trials.
Yes, the rear end started coming around. Trying to brake late and turn in appropriately. It's always a fun time.

Nice driving, good meeting you last night (red Mazda RX8). I've been slowly whittling my time down and currently at a PB of 2:10.41, hoping to break that 2:10 barrier soon.
I broke below 2:10 for the first time last year at a TNiA event. As I mentioned, there's a Time Trial on Sat/Sun June 22/23. Very few people have signed up so far so it may be a great time to get lots of open space on the track - three timed sessions for 120 with a transponder.
@@peterschnore9565 I checked the schedule but couldn't find it, I signed up for the TNIA event the morning of 6/22. You have a link for the Time Trial? The only thing I see is a NASA TT 7/19-7/21.

Did you have the black or dark grey one? I have the SCCA's "solo spec coupe" build and no other mods. No power mods, no tune, no E85. Suspension, more neg. camber than stock, and need to be on the Falken Azenis RT615k+'s on 17 lb. min wheels, catback exhaust.
Also, importantly, the brake pads are not stock (carbotech XP10 front, Ferodo DS2500 rear) and the brake fluid is less than 6 months old (ATE300).
Peter Schnore Thank you for your response. I have a Dark Gray Metallic, took it on the Parade lap. Was planning to partake on July 23 until I saw your comment about June 22. I have gone the other way with my mods so far, suspension is stock, except steel brake lines. I’m running an OpenFlash Stage 2 e85 tune, drop in filter, UEL header, catless 2.5” exhaust, and an oil cooler. Are you able to upgrade power and stay in the Solo Spec class?
@@terrywedlake I'm at the limit of what I can do in SSC. June 22/23 is going to be a fun and busy weekend at Pitt Race. There's an autocross (stcsolo.com) on Saturday morning as well as a morning 'Track Night' event. On Saturday afternoon and Sunday there will be the Time Trial. (I'm doing the autocross and the TT. This is the same weekend as F3/F4 racing at Pitt Race so there will be a chance to get up close to those cars as well as see them on the track.
