Running full sized cars on a go cart course.

I want to take mine to autocross, and track racing but I was worried people wouldn’t take too kindly to a bigass truck sloshing around the track

This truck looks so well balanced on a tight course!

I own a 86 and a 1970 elcamino and yes it is hard to do autocross with them. My 86 is my pro touring autocross el Camino and it's a blast especially on a real road course o have a huge lexan spoiler on back like yours with coil overs and tubular front end setup as in the frame is tubular with better geometry then what they came with stock. It's a beautiful ride ls motor making 670 to rear wheels front splitter as well love it. And my 1970 is my pro street drag el Camino it's a old school style pro street drag build with huge meaty treaded cheater drag tires they called them cheater slicks back in the day cause it was a really soft compound the tires are but has treads so when your street racing ppl don't think you got a fast ride or on big tire slicks cause it's treaded. And my 1970 is a blower motor 410 c.i with nitrous making right at 960 to rear wheels on chassis Dyno and that motor is 9 years old and never been rebuilt and I race it twice a month every month and never had a problem and it's still running strong but I change the oil after every race night and change valve springs after every 4 race nights. So I keep the motors as clean and healthubas possible

I did some autocross in a '74 or '75 Capri and thought it was a nose heavy little pig but it sounded great!

1971 or 1972 Hatchback. 1974 had the large, heavy bumpers shared with the Mustang II. I had a 1971 Hatchback. He is giving away a weight advantage by not using a 1972 Sedan which was the lightest of the series. He could save almost 100 pounds or more by going to the 1972.
