@@swingindenver so i gave it a name? 😎 The workshop was in Italy by Antonio and Giulia, teachers in Firenze, they continued the "Texas Tommy drape" with a pop turn and some other add on. Since the energy from the drape is real nice to make a pop turn. You might know this variaton already for sure, but just in case.

I vaguely remember talking with Kyle about this and he explained why Willie and not Maxie, but it's been too long for me to remember coherently enough. If you want to pursue this question further, I'd start with Mickey Fortanesce. Sorry I can't be of more help. I do trust Kyle's answer because of his vast experience and who he's been around

Indeed! We're sad Moses Walker passed away earlier this year

Yes. Very sad. I was able to recover a lost album from 1990 I restored and remastered with his pal David Antonio. The album is called "Moses Walker & Bubba - Stink Out Loud" It is posted on our YT page. ❤️

Awesome. I'm not sure what Lindy Hop is near you, but there are beginner online courses here: www.ilindy.tv/?via=kennydelilah and you could reach out to our OC friends at Atomic Ballroom to see if they know anyone in your area.

Interesting take on a VIP giveaway to a beerfest that happened already.

If you're looking for a steady cam experience, I'd recommend searching tutorials or going to iLindy. Avoid recaps and don't do that fwd/bk step we teach in the beginning

@@swingindenver my wife and I are leading and following with rhythms and music for now. We connect the rhythm in the video with cha cha and west coast swing and just the basic turns on any part of the rhythm pattern. We are not young anymore, we are about 50 years too late for the swinging bit but we enjoy the variety lindy hop gives to our repertoire. Thanks a million.
