Cockpit View on a Cessna 172R at Moorabbin - Gayan Perera
This ia a cockpit view of me flying on a Cessna 172R. Registration VH-ONW Fly out from Moorabbin. Later come back and land at Moorabbin (YMMB). A Bad day to fly, about 28KT wind gust straight down the runway 35. Wind was about 16KT from 360 Degrees. Not much of cross wind but the wind gust was massive. You can see how hard I was struggle with the controls.

Finally found, Rockwood (YRKE)

Believe it or not, this is a runway (a regional landing strip, mainly used for crop dusting) by the name ROCKWOOD. Marked with two rows of white color tyres. Well known as a grass strip can not be found even with a GPS. Hell yeah, cracked my funny bone. (for all my Sri Lankan friends)

yeh i have been outside if australia, i have been to Los Angeles 3 times chicago, detroit, toronto twice, amesterdam, Johannesburg and Cape Town 4 times, Denpasar, Wellington, Chirstchurch, Dunedin and yeh i am born in Sydney and i live in Melbourne and travel between Mel and Syd heaps and my parents are South African. So i have been well travelled most of my life thanks. I Mean by Aussie standards its huge after Sydney ofcourse lol.

Thanks for posting... one of the best video's I have seen of YBLT....well there is only about 4! I am surprised that my car is actually in the video sitting just before runway 23... I spend hours out there every weekend. If you are ever there again please take more footage and post. Thanks
Hey dude, I'm from Moorabbin (MFT). Doing some navigation towards CPL. And just having fun doing it. I've heard REX had some problems before with their training and accommodation, but believe they are rectified now. Go for it dude. I'm sure if you got the right juice, it's not that hard to get in. Personally, I don't prefer to tie my self to REX for 6 years. These are pretty unpredictable times for Aviation. Do some more research before you commit for anything. Good Luck. Cheers.
