The new owners never really cared about these properties like the old ones did I've been going to these Resorts since the 70s Pocono Palace was my favorite unfortunately one day they'll probably all be gone sold off for the property

I went to Paradise and cove heaven years ago back when you could smoke . Not being able smoking turned meany people away and the prices went up compared to the old owner .

When we stayed at PS, we didn't have a lakeside villa, but that looks beautiful!

Such a bittersweet ending.. Hopefully the new owners will take care of the property properly. We personally have only stayed at Paradise Streams once and it was the Garden of Eden Apple room (this was during when cruising was shut down). Thank you for showing us the final shots of Pocono Palace and it was fitting you guys were the last ones to check out there. Looked like you had a ton of "cheezy" memories..but they are the best! :)

I'm so sorry that you have lost your favorite place to stay. At least you have each other (no give backs or tradesies 😂), and all your memories and lots of pictures and video. It looked to me that over the years you have met some great people and made some good friends too. Maybe the universe decided that your time there had run its course and will be sending you off to other new places and adventures.

Our first trip to PP was 1997, and we normally got to the cove now, but we just booked one last stat at PP just before we head to the cove for forever lover's weekend. I suspect we will be among the last few to stay at the resort leaving the day before they close the doors for good.

I know it's not the Palace but truthfully, my husband and I have always loved the stream for its own reason. The villa is his favorite in spring and summer because it has its own patio. We sit out there and play games and can still see the fire inside to enjoy it. The outdoor games are great and now they've added mini golf and bowling inside. Plus Spooner is large enough to do CXO stuff in during the day and still get mixed drinks. The two hot tubs inside are great. The pool and bar outside are always great. Plus the fire pit is great to on a chilly night and sometimes luce music is played out there. The nightclub is large for things like new years and headliners and even though there's no lake to see at dinner, the fireplace is always so nice in the winter. There use to be a nice place off the hiking trail where snow mobility happened so they could always start it again. Although it's a pond and not a lake, paddle boating and fishing have always been fun and actually romantic there. We love the gift shop and the carriage rides offered by the horse riding company ne t door. The streams are also beautiful to walk along. Like e erything, it's all what you make it.
