    Do a walk through of the apartment and property before you rent ! I rented off the reviews and this video and the website. Been here over two months . A lot of regret. Single pane sliding patio doors and windows with aluminum frames. Hear every footstep and pet running on the apt above you. Second gate to exit the property locked can’t use . Cockroach problem. Which I got under control with hot shot bait traps! Mgt doesn’t return calls or emails. They want you to pay rent on the app but charge $40 to do so. To much to list!! Can’t wait to move. I usually do a better job of checking thing out . I dropped the ball. Plus whe school is in session traffic is horrible trying to get in and out of the complex. I’m taking video and pictures to post on Instagram . Can’t wait to move!!!!

    Someone close had issues with you not respecting their disability parking permit. There's footage showing a car without disability license plate standing on their spot, their car which has it had to be moved aside... you were informed of this and sided with the person who wrongfully took the spot. You'll be getting negative reviews from me after this one.

    My A/C has went out THREE TIMES since I’ve living here for 1 year and 5 months. As usual management does not respond to request. Why should I pay rent in FULL when I don’t have the amenities as promised in my lease?????Must be nice to record this insincere video in a big room with central A/C! Horrible management. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

    $300 year for trash service when you park 20 ft away from the trash compactor, on the side of your building is an excessive fee, and it was not added for the benefit of the tenants. It was added to have more income for the property. The property is overpriced, and you don't know it; because many of us saw the beautifully kept showroom apartment...and only saw the actual apartment that we occupy once the lease was signed and the deal was done.

    I want the NON-residents to stop using our gym. They come and use it and the restrooms, and hang out, smoking pot, doing other things... I've seen the coke bags on the ground. I've see the pot buds on the ground. People come from all over to use The Avenues as a public park, on Paseo Drive. The apartments next "door" have teens who come over every day in the summer & use our pool. Yes, they litter, too. I want that entire fence rebuilt there- there are so many holes in it, its unreal. I want the non-residents to be shooed away from using OUR playgrounds and doggie parks. They litter and... see my sentences above. I want the HOA's next door to get a letter on each door to stop using The Avenue's grounds to let their dogs poop and not pick it up. To stop parking in our playground spaces, so they can go party at the HOA next door. To not bring their kids over to play. To not litter. Yes, I've seen all these things. These are NOT public property. I want the whole roads to be resurfaced. There are so many potholes, some look like sinkholes. I don't like my car being damaged. Take this downtime to do it. Thank you.

    I moved in March 13. And I realized I been living in black mold this whole time. I sent a request in March. And no one has done anything. I’m living in poison. I already been to the doctor. I’m disgusted and disappointed with everyone who thought I wasn’t a priority. My health is a priority to me while I’m paying rent here!!!!

      Get in touch with the regional service director!! We had a similar situation in April a pipe burst and unbeknownst to us it’s been leaking for quiet some time. Mold was everywhere. At first they tried to brush it off and have us stay in the apt with our children while they fix the problem areas. Ummm absolutely not! Was not happening! The regional service director was called and came out And offered to out us in a hotel until the work was done. The maintenance manger claimed she called all over the city for a hotel and they weren’t letting anyone stay due to the quarantine....LIES!!! Then she mentioned a ghetto disgusting hotel I was so pissed! We called the regional director and he gave us the okay to call around and find one...the across the street from the complex had no issues allowing us to get a room! A nice clean and safe room! These ppl here are a joke and I can’t wait to move out! We’ve had soooooo many issues since living here!

    Lol you are worried about opening the amenities, meanwhile I’ve been asking for my air conditioning to be fixed since April, and all I’ve been told is that it was put on hold due to the virus, and that they are doing what they can to get to it. Then I look at a list of what you guys listed as emergencies, and cooling was one of the things listed. So why am I still sitting here sweating in my 80 degree house and feeling sick and losing sleep due to the heat?! This is ridiculous. I’ve been asking for this to be fixed since April. This weekend, and going into next week it will be over 80 degrees outside, which is even hotter than its been. I try to ask if I can get someone else to come out and fix it, and just send them the bill or have it deducted from my rent next month. I was told they would have to speak to the manager about it because they couldn’t make that decision themselves, so I’m left waiting to hear back and still nothing. I shouldn’t be miserable in my own home that I pay rent for!

      Last year my A/C went out for about two weeks and it was 88 degrees in my apartment. I had to basically act like a maniac over the phone in order for them to fix it..... fast forward to a year and it went out again! Rent should be discounted if I’m not promised the basic amenities such as central heating and cooling as mentioned in the lease. Management is horrible!

      India Springer That doesn’t surprise me! I literally had to do the same! I felt like a psycho having to harass them with phone calls. I FINALLY got someone out, and guess what he told me was the problem? IT WAS ONLY A SWITCH THAT NEEDED TURNED ON. It was 85 degrees inside when they finally came. I have a cat too, who should not be in that heat. It took me harassing them for almost a month, and being so uncomfortable in my own home, for them to come and just flip a damn switch?! Ridiculous!!! And then I get in knock on my door the other day saying they have to bust a hole in my closet to fix a leak from my shower that’s apparently leaking into the apartment below me. Rent should definitely be discounted in these instances that we have no control over. New management isn’t doing very good so far. Should be comfortable in my own home especially when I pay what I do.

    I've been in a goldoller community 2 months when my lease is up I'm out... Move in no Ac Office staff dosent answer phones or email.. 25$ vallet trash that i don't understand cause I take my own trash out. And no security throughout the complex.. Maintenance is a joke as well they have no idea what they are doing

      Yes, maintenance is a joke. They leave a card saying they worked on something. The problem is still there. I have closet doors that need a new hinge. Replace it like I asked! My washer doesn't. I hand wash my clothes. The dryer is pretty old, too. It doesn't change temperature when I put it on low. It still runs when I open the door.

    I’m sorry, but there’s no way you all are “doing all you can do” to help your tenants! There are so many Gold Oller Communities and I’m sure you all have earned more than enough money from all your tenants to do more during these uncertain times. I could not believe how insensitive it was for an email to be sent out just days after the pandemic began explaining how you won’t be forgiving rent. So many of your tenants have not been able to work and have to worry about how to pay not just the rent but the ridiculously high late fees as well! We’re charged for valet trash and pest control, those charges could’ve been paused or credited or taken away all together. Valet trash don’t even pick up my trash consistently like they should. I have photos of my garbage outside waiting to be picked up still and it after 1030pm. I can walk my own garbage to the dump and you stop charging me. I’m sure rent reduction, forgiveness, or something to ease the burden of your tenants would be greatly appreciated. This just goes to show that when you’re not affected by a situation directly, you don’t really care how others are. Smh

    How about the mailbox you provided me was condemned by the United Postal service TWO MONTHS before the pandemic and its still not fixed. Causing me and other residents to have to stop at the leasing office on a weekly basis. If you cared about my health and the heath of your co-workers.. it seems to me that you'd want to get the mail boxes fixed. Also, your re-painting the exteriors of all the units and they cut my screen in order to get to the porch... this was EIGHT WEEKS AGO! My safety is at jeopardy because my screen is completely open. But you had no problem allowing a stranger to cut it and enter my porch during a pandemic without proper notification. This seems very basic to me. There is no compensation for the company's poor decision making. Ive called several times to get an idea of when it will be fixed and get the same response. "We don't know." The worst customer service is when I feel that my points and concerns are being ignored and push to the side. Very disappointed in this half-hearted video.

      Leigh-Ane Simpson write in a complaint. I have just sent in letters to the post office and the post master general making them aware we are still without working mailboxes and that the complex is doing nothing about it. They are holding our mail and not allowing 24/7 access which is illegal.

      Lynnel W sure during their business hours which aren’t convenient for everyone. Last time I tried to pick up my mail during the normal business day they had a sign on the door that said closed for webinar. I had to wait until the next day and urgently needed something that had arrived in the mail. I pay $1100 a month for an apartment without a mailbox.

    If you care about your tenants there are several things you could do: -get rid of the trash valet. Nobody asked for it and it’s an extra $25/mo no one has. We have the ability to take trash out ourselves. -answer the phones -waive late fees for now, at least for like a week or two. Preferably reduce rent and tack it on at the end of the lease (or forgive some because what we’re getting has not been worth what we’re paying) -open the pool areas, we can social distance! -clean the stairwells and semi populated areas -fix laundry facilities -actually fix the pipes because water gets shut off on a weekly basis with no notice. Thanks and stay healthy everyone. It’s a shame how insincere that video was

    Many times the simple things will carry customer service from “ok” to stellar. With that being said, here are a few suggestions: -Repair the laundry card machine -Hire security to enforce proper parking, eliminate hanging out in the stairwells and laundry center late at night. -Waive late fees for residents whose employment was impacted by COVID-19. -Increase staff responsiveness to residents. Sometimes we don’t even get responses to emails or phone calls. -Partner with community agencies to provide updated information about rent, food or utility assistance to residents whose income is being affected by COVID-19.
