Then make your tongue pop. On release hold for one second between pops. Repeat 10 times. 1:50 Tongue Push-Up - Place the tip of your tongue against the front portion of your spot. Hold for 5 seconds. Then while your tongue is on the roof of your mouth, open and close your lower jaw. Repeat at least 10 times. 2:06 Tongue Pull Aerobics - Tongue pull aerobics consists of four parts. I just realized I need this therapy ...I ve had braces & my teeth has shifted bck into a slight over bite, it freaked me out & did t know wht I was doing wrong?? In the meantime I got othr things going on that calls for a speech therapist..ive been before ..didn't solve anything imo...so I was just putting it off cause I knew they were gona say the same thing "sssss" exercises..lol but as I did my own research about teeth shifting thy mentioned tongue thrust...& it described me & also lead to the treatment of OMT! & I'm no dr but I know my body best & I feel this is wht I'm looking for! Finally! Why has no dentist ever mentioned this?? Not even the ortho! But of course they are not gona tell you cause it keeps you coming back to them smh..I'm ready to switch dentist after reading up on it! .
Okey, so I want to do these exercises twice a day, for 3 months, I'll keep updating here and see how it goes :)
How is it so far?
?
I can't do the taco xD
It's genetic

I feel like Vader is just on a phone call ordering pizza. “Yeah that’s one meat lovers, two pepperoni with extra cheese. Hold on I’m getting another call. Yes tarkin I’m getting extra cheese! Don’t you have a Death Star to blow up on?’
Think my girlfriends nooneee will appreciate the exercises
This AHole girl in the video is off putting with the stupid faces she’s making. She ruined the video
No thanks....
So helpful
Hello Dr Audrey, how long do I have to do this before it will start to impact my sleep apnea? Also, is this something I will have to do twice a day for my whole life? Or is there a point where I can reduce or stop doing it? Thanks for your great videos
im gonna do updates on this Day 1: completed morning and most of the afternoon exercises. Feeling: i noticed when i went to wash my face today my cheecks felt softer almost pillowy
How’s it going?

im trying to figure out what orthodontist i should chose. are orthodontic clinics that also provide myofuctional therapy better? because when applying braces they will not create end result that will interfere with correct tongue posture.

I am only halfway through these exercises and I feel inexplicable relief in my jaw. This is insane! Thank you so so much for sharing this priceless knowledge
And in the UK we still have doctors that think palate expanding does nothing
When i do the tongue taco, i get a burning sensation (the muscle maybe) below each corner of my mouth but a little bit outward on each side (sorry if you dont understand, english is not my first language)
These exercises are really well explained and helpful to me. The attractive young girl who demonstrates the exercises makes doing them more fun and tolerable! Am I correct in understanding that a few of the exercises are NOT to be repeated 10 times? Thank you for posting this video Dr. Yoon!
Very cute and attractive young woman forsure.
Will I get proper tongue after doing this exeecuse ? And how long should I do this exercise and how many times in a day ? Please reply anyone 🙏 and go for next video
that girl is baaad 💓
3 hour surgery? Bro this is crazy I feel hopeless man. I just want a good nights sleep. So lost
I feel you bro! Don't give up, there are a lot of options, find a ENT/sleep doctor. I'd recommend Dr. Steven Park.
If I’m an adult would it reduce my tonsils also? Serious question
The theory is that filtered, warmed and humidified air due to increased nasal breathing as opposed to mouth breathing reduces the tonsil and adenoid tissues. So it should be the same in adults.
I LOVE that girl
Excelent and complete set of exercises to improve our tounge posture.
I need this . Can someone refer me to someone I’m Illinois
I know there’s a few in Minnesota that can provide MSE/MARPE devices. There’s this CZcamsr who channel is dedicated to stuff like this. It’s called JawHacks
He talks about it in this vid czcams.com/video/EDn2AZia4Bw/video.htmlsi=UDjVqwBSsQk6bF46
She is teaching indian meditation called Pranayam
Some of these are yoga practices.
Which ones? Cause I don't do yoga
Is it safe or okay to do this when you have an overbite?
Had my tonsils removed as a child. It did not treat the problem, I was a mouth breather with nasal obstruction. I'm an adult now and I have a high arched narrow palate with very obstructive sleep apnea. Currently going through palatal and mandibular expansion with MSE and MSDO and my breathing is already improving. However I will still need MMA surgery to move my jaws forward to solve the narrow airway. This entire process can easily be avoided I'd parents and healthcare partners knew how to diagnose and treat mouth breathing and bad oral posture from a young age.
Same here.. but on top of that I had a first MMA surgery with insufficient advancement
Thanks for your comment. Considering MARPE and nice to hear someone going through it too :)
So sad that I was not able to meet you! Please tell me how to learn the MSE technique from you?
There were very difficult but in a good way. I need to have them be challenging. I may have to work up to the frequency of 2 sets, 2 times a day, but I know all the practice and patience will pay off.
Hello! When doing these, is it necessary to stretch the tongue as much as possible in each exercise?
Fantastic. Way to go. Seems like expansion causes a chain of positive effects.
I really love CZcams. I mean, you can learn so much on here, and for FREE! I've been poor all my life, so I can relate to those of you in the comments who are also joyous about this video being brought to us by the lovely owner of this channel. I will do this every day, twice a day, and come back in a few months or when and if I notice progress. I have TMD, a deep bite, poor tongue posture, a very tight tongue tie, all sorts of issues that I can't resolve by seeing a fancy doctor so I really am forever grateful to be able to take these things into my own hands with the help of the professionals who choose (ever so selflessly) their information and therapies with us here on the internet. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR AUDREY YOON !!! <3
Did it help
Did it help??
How's your progress love
Update ?
????????????????????????
Had my tongue tie operation yesterday. Straight after I spent 3 hours on the phone talking, I had salmon & mash for dinner (cooled down) took ibuprofen and I’m not in much pain at all. Able to stick my tongue out and move up, down and side to side, only thing that hurts is the suction hold and the clicks but that’s expected. Id say keep the tongue moving as much as possible, this has helped me anyway. Best of luck everyone
hey! any updates with overall improvements?
Lucky you, I am at day 3 rn and it still hurts when moving, plus the surgeon did not tell me anything about these exercises
Love how this young lady wiggles her tongue around.
Ayo what
I'm looking for a doctor in Florida that will perform this. Any advice?

You're a gem❤
My first time doing this yesterday and I already felt my jaw and tongue naturally being in place. Will continue doing this because I’ve been trying on my own and I feel as though I’ve been doing something wrong. Thank you so much for these exercises!
How’s this going for you now?
@@RawMilkEnjoyer no I actually stopped for a while and recently started doing these again. They help but you have to do it everyday at least until you see improvements
