Thank you! That was really helpful =) My microscope came without a manual and I was unsure how to do this. Now I got a nice centered light, so much better!
Thank you
You focus the condenser ON THE EDGE OF THE FIELD DIAPHRAGM. Mr. professor, please be clear in your language.

Could you please do a video on how to tell different erythopoisis stages cells apart from the leukocytes ..
Early erythopoisis stages have spherical nuclei where they are oval/kidney/horse shoe-shape/or lobulated nuclei

Thanks

Can Koehler illumination be achieved without a field diaphragm ??? if yes , how ???
no
@@VIBSHistology FWIW, I've seen tutorials by other profs from other colleges that show how to set it up using only the condenser diaphragm if you don't have a field diaphragm. But thanks for the detailed video. I'm not a student at your university, but your explanation helped, even though I own an inexpensive OMAX microscope that doesn't have a field diaphragm.
This is life-saving. Very clear. Thanks a lot!
Thanks
Thank you Dr Johnson! It's people like you that makes CZcams such a great place to learn!
Thanks happy to help!

Several histology text
Hi Doctor! I just passed 2nd year in med school & have zero to little knowledge in histology:( 3rd year is starting in 40 days and I need a short informative course that is sufficient as a background for studying Pathology and Microbiology in the next year.. so could you please recommend me a playlist to cover most of Histology in less than 3 weeks? Thank You
czcams.com/play/PLQltfhuKi1shnkMd9DvF5l09vi0g3MAEu.html try this playlist! It’s made by one of his TAs. It’s very condensed, straightforward, and gives a great general summary of histology for beginners!
Good point
