Great old school animation, made feel like it was the 80's again. I've read all the books, and found it hard to enjoy this movie at first as the characters didn't fit the way I imagined them. The next thing I knew, the movie was over, and I had enjoyed it!

This adaptation of Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters (1997) is sublime. Thanks, Magnetic, for hosting this fine work which represents the best of 90's made-for-TV feature-length animated cinema and is well-cast including, of course, C. Lee as Death. BTW, Lee hosted SNL in the 70's and appeared in one sketch as Mr. Death to humorous effect. As a child, he wowed me in the Hammer films and I recently learned from a Brit that Lee was an intelligence officer during WWII, was good friends w/Ian Fleming and, apparently, served as the basis for Fleming's 007 character. Lee's many fine qualities in rare and potent combination served him well throughout his long career including w/the metal band Charlemagne, in the Star Wars films as Count Dooku, as Sauraman in The Lord of the Rings & SO much more. Lee was the best, and the rest of the voice actors in Wyrd Sisters are equally well-cast. This film is a treasure, so thanks again, Magnetic.
