@@violetlavi2207 well... if you pay attention to the small details when they interact in the early seasons. even though this was not conveyed openly If it's about similarities to the comics, I know there will be many who will protest about this, but Iris in this TV series is also not the same as the one in the comics 😁
@@ervanrhermawan2380 oh I’m aware they’re not the same, that’s why it was a “fun fact”. Has no bearing on the show, but…even so, across every continuity, Iris has been the closest to outright being called “Mrs. Barry Allen” (and the reason she isn’t beyond that one instance is because she’s more than just Barry’s wife, and the show highlights that. So do the comics, albeit in different ways) As to your first point, sure, there were a couple points in s1 when I might’ve seen something between Barry and Caitlin. But definitely not beyond season 1 😂 and in any case, Caitlin always seemed to be in favor of Barry and Iris as a couple, especially in s2 onwards when she encouraged Iris to act on her feelings for Barry

I guess it may have just been the way Iris was written within those seasons and it got irritating for me. I just know for a fact that when they gave her that stupid “time sickness” arc in season…7?
