I avoided these loot boxes like the plague! No thanks for piles of garbage. Lame and weak, the mini game is fun and not horrible. But the prizes and loot boxes aren’t worth it at all. It’s all trash.

12:12 The difference is, the 3D styles in the Christmas boxes are either for tech tree tanks (attainable for free) or battle pass tanks (theoretically also attainable for free). While the Star Trek 3D style is for a tank that's only attainable from lootboxes. Which feels kind of predatory, since if you get the style and don't have the tank, the only way to get any use out of it is to buy more lootboxes seeking the tank.

Thing is... so I recruit a crew for a new vehicle. They (currently) start at... what, 50k XP? (without paying to get them to 100%) When that crew gets converted, the result is 50k worth of skillbooks, correct? That would be 20k national books.... but what happens to the hanging 10k? From what I understand we'll also be able to change the major specialization of crew as well... so a gunner to a driver, ect. They should allow us to change nations, too... because I wasted a good crew of recruits on the polish TDs and I am not liking them much at all.

I think the "AMX 50 100" is even worst grrr .... just my opinion, but I think WOT puts those horrible Tanks on the tech tree in the way on purpose to make you suffer and grind before you earn the great Tanks at tier IX & X. If they didnt everyone would have those good tanks. Many will give up and only the good players will get past the gauntlet of bad tanks like the AMX 65T...just saying.....

Does it make sense to convert a medium 4-man crew with 83% in its first skills if I intend to to use it? In other words, is it more efficient to convert a 83% crew and train up a new crew with the gained crewbooks or is it better to not convert and use that crew as it is?

ive been in my t6s and clipped so many times .........right to the garage by those tanks - frustrating at a t6 LOL-- and its nice to see your crews NOT have all the skills like alot of the other CC,s with 13skills or whatever -- so you can see how the tank performs more like us mere low lifes LOL

the tanks that are ruff for me are the soviet is2 kv3 and their premiums -----with 217pen of premium and their dispersion makes it tough ---the NEW made up power creep tanks they are a underdog and if you get in t9 game ( alot ) your F,ed LOL ive been clipped so many times ill shoot once .. Miss or critical hit .. and DEAD Lol ( and i even have a 10 skill crew that has taken me 11yrs to make )

I despise the reworked barracks. It annoys me to no end. In dealing with this conversion I've had to peruse the barracks interface more than I ever wanted to. While it is easier to reach the desired outcome when the amount of more or less random filter clicks is reduced the experience is still rage inducing. Did they hire some kind of mobile phone hack to design this abomination?

You don't have to go through the hassle of separating all ineligible crew members that have more than one perk trained, it does it automatically when you go through the conversion process.

There is a major difference between "It is a one-time operation and can't be reverted." and it being limited to ONLY one use, that single use limit should have been made more clear. This change does not really help new players which I understand was the purpose behind this change, I have MULTIPLE Tank crews that wont fit into the barracks, while for long time players they can probably receive full benefit from the change without any problem. For example I have 51 Tanks and only 48 barracks slots which even if I filed it I would still have 78 crew members that will not fit into the barrack that would be eligible for conversion. This also does not consider the Tier 1 thru 3 tank crews that were in my barrack from tanks that I sold to make room to buy new tanks. This is another example of this game NOT wanting or welcoming new players and after 6 months of playing it I will soon be looking for another game.

There's no need to remove crew from the barracks. You can temporarily send an unlimited amount to the barracks even if there's no bunks left.

can you convert some crew members then later on convert some more, or do you only get one go at this, convert all at once then that's it?

Used to love this when I first got it, back when the armour held out and 400 alpha seemed like a lot. It's in desperate need of some love these days, along with the CDC ☹️

Was a good tank back when it became a tier 8. Now its a joke because BZ 176 is in the game. Most tanks are now a pain to play and a joke.

used to love playing this tank...in today's meta...not so much. I played a lot of games in this thing vs mainly tier 10 and held my own before the meta changed. This and the IS6 need another buff in order to at least help it a bit. Both tanks are almost useless today.

damn that is alot of games................i sure wish WGing would start to Use WTR rating in matchmaker to .......like lets say 100,000 per side..... that way the teams would be more balanced ---- getting tired of blow out games.........so i look at the teams........enemy teams get the 8k+ players my team 2-5k players ....they generally have better crews equipment and more games played............

300 boxes are 240 bucks. That's 4 full-price AAA games. Furthermore, 2 tanks only are reskinned versions. WG is as greedy as AF.

That was more on the unlucky side, I got 300 as well and in the first 150 it went similar to how yours went, on the next 150 I got pretty lucky and managed to rack up 65k gold in compensation, 400k free xp, and about 10m in credits. Before I did the boxes I only had the T77 and GSOR. This might honestly be account bound luck because in the Christmas boxes I got even more than this in compensation (about 200k gold) in 300 boxes. That or i'm just wasting my yearly luck on wot loot boxes lol

Bought 50 boxes and got the jagdtiger prototype in my 50th box. Bought 50 boxes today and got 4 premium (alt proto/t 54D/alembic/T77). Got 3 of them in 7 boxes =)

Try playing it more like a sniper, the gold ammo and gun handling is great for tier 8, if youre top tier you can try playing like a hulldown heavy. Since its got no camo and poor mobility i found its hard to play like a normal medium

I bought this tank today , my first few games were alot like yours , I am also an average tanker but it did get better and I had a pretty decent couple of games , I usually don't play this late because it's the time of the professionals but it worked out , hope your still working it , good luck ..😊

Terrible boxes. I bought 10 and got the 590 in the 6th. It is funny to throw 10 bucks away to WG. They need all the money they can get here soon. It is pretty stupid that they try to make you gamble to get the new tank. I missed the TL 7 because I am not spending over $100 and still does not give you 100% chance to get the new tanks.
