for those people who are doing this in 2024 and Filliman bugs out and disappears before you give his the book. Here is a quick fix. drop the book and then right click the tree, it will give you an option to enter, click that and he will come back out the tree then just pick the book back up to give to him.

I know this is 8 years later but if you go to the dungeon wearing all your armor you get kick out of Entrana, not sure if its an update but that just happened to me. So I recommend to create the armor while inside the cave.
