    This is a SECRET WEAPON on vocals...shhh dont tell anyone. I know it was designed with drums in mind, but the fast grabby transparent VCA compression works incredibly for vocal leveling, plus the transformer mojo to add some heft and soothe harshness. Its almost like it was made as a vocal processor - you can push it SO HARD and it sounds great.

Sucht man alles vergeblich in euren Beispielen.

    Great job. There's a sluggishness to The Brute that is happening in the low mids and bass frequencies. Almost "Sta Level"-ish. The Tegeler's emulation doesn't seem to have that same speed in the lower frequency range. It feels more "fast" and modern.

  • @HEZ63
    @HEZ63 Před rokem

    One of the best, most naturally sounding reverbs, I ever have heard! At first glance just another reverb with comparably few controls, at second glance and if you move all the controls, you might be surprise of the expected and even more of the unexpected reverb sounds, which this unit offers and this in fantastic quality. The Tegeler sounds quite neutral to me, but in a positive way, it also has a lot of potential, if you look eg. for more unusual, ambient or (almost) endless reverbs, which need maybe a more proper adjustment, to sound great, but even more for decent, nevertheless very naturally and organically sounding reverbs. The reverbs sound to me much better than the ones of most typical ambient reverbs, but the sounds and even more the quality also convince me more than the results of most convolution reverbs, which I know. The Tegeler is, I think the best available choice for high quality Classical music, but also for Jazz or some more contemporary experimental or avantgarde music, a piano alone, a string quartet or a hang drum will sound fantastic with these reverbs, I think, due to the very natural character. For mainstream Pop, Rock and more commercial music it of course also works great, but it will sound different than the meanwhile often used „gimmick-reverbs“ with some additional modulations or other effects, which for me anyway have little to do with authentic room reflections. These effects the Tegeler does not offer, instead it adds a really convicingly sounding, complex, natural dimensionality to the sound, which is well controllable and adjustable. An excellent plugin in my opinion, but most probably not for everyone. One positive aspect of the Tegeler for me is, that the sound quality remains equally good, no matter if you use it very decently only or extremely intense, another one the simple, but very effectively working controls.

    • @Tegeler
      @Tegeler Před rokem

      The demo was actually available only after the preorder period ended. The preorder was a campaign to have some fun with our customers who wanted to believe in our next plug-in blindly. Many people did, 13 people got free Creme hardware units, and they were rewarded for their trust with a discounted price for the pre-order. Now that the plug-in is fully released, we think it's fair that people can demo it beforehand, and then pay its full price afterwards.

    This example made me hear more the difference. I've got a couple of questions for any owner of this device (not necessarily this brand/model): - what is the designation of this device? It says "32 channels mixer", so it's made to add more outputs, or it is more indicated for summing the 32 channels into a single one, while doing live playback or recording? I understand that the word "summing" is not casual here, but I don't know people who own these type of gear, and I'm curious about how it's used. The result can justify the price of this product in your opinion? I bet that this gives to your sound that tiny little detail that you may need when everything else is already OK in a mix, and you want to add the last bit...like a signature maybe? Let me know your experience if you want - I'm making music with my pc since 10 years, more or less, but it's not my profession. These devices always fascinated me, but at the same time they are much expensive, definitely not something that I could buy frequently. - is it possible to replicate the same result by using digital effects (read: VSTs) ? The word "digital" is already an answer, but like in the previous question, I would like to hear an opinion by someone who tried both solutions I love vinyls and still prefer their sound, especially the low end - I don't know if it is suggestion or what, but I think that the absence of "bits" has an impact; excluding the noise, ideally analog is the most realistic source: I can see this concept applied to film cameras as well. Said this, and don't thinking about the economical aspect for a moment, would you recommend a summing mixer for a home studio, composed by a DAW and some external gear? (like synths, drum machine, FXs) They are already connected to an usb audio interface, but now I've run out of inputs. I'm thinking about adding some, with an external mixer. The question is: should I buy a regular analog mixer, or invest in a summing mixer? To be honest regular mixers look cool, but most controls are already in the DAW, what interests me is the I/O function of the mixer, and it's character. So I'm more of the idea that a summing mixer would be better used than the other type. If you read everything, thank you a lot... any advice or experience is really appreciated, thank you again

    Tegeler please listen. I'll delete this post soon enough because I'm polite. I would like to buy your units some day. I have a couple mastering units and when I look inside, the boards are amazing. Even if it costs 100 euro more per board, you should do an experiment and make a new product with a board that emphasizes big traces that almost give the impression of something like point to point, try to make something that looks like a Chandler or Manley unit inside without increasing your prices beyond the parts and time difference. I think you can do it because it would be radical and rebellious. Don't underestimate how critical people are. Your boards look like Chinese boards. Well Chinese can make boards with wide traces and spacing with high layer counts using only extra ground planes instead of routing layers, have you ever tried to make a mastering unit like that? The HiFi community have made some amazingly high quality DACs and amps in China for low cost. Also you can't allow people to see Behringer-style R&G (Ribbons & Glue) except for a digital interconnect I.e. to a screen, you need to innovate around that and invent a new alternative even if it also costs a little more.
