Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart - Polonaise mélancolique
A piece composed by the 6th and youngest son of the renowned W. A. Mozart. He didn't surpass his parent, but he deserves some attention too.

Honestly this lovely. Mozart’s son is so underrated, even his grandfather is more well known than him, even though Franz is arguably a better a composer.

Though Mozart was Genius, he was been Ended as poor. Result his sons Karl and Franz xaver mozart forced to left their DNA of music and started working Somewhere at office Becoz of theirs Poverty. Im worrying for God who Made Mozart as Genius, same made Mozart and their kids as Poor. God is cruel.

Such a genius, gentle soul. Should have gotten so much more recognition and accolades than he got. Imagine even having your own damn epitaph be dedicated to your father's work instead of your own. He should get the recognition he deserves.

I love this. It's a very emotional music. I'm a melancholic from Poland.Beautiful art.Franz Xaver Mozart was an amazing composer who should be exposed more. For me his work was very original. The only thing i can find in comparision to his great father is the heart!Respectable continuation of his father's feel of music.

The first time, I heard a little of his music, I thought: "A romantic, that didn´t escape the formalities of classicism" . Not easy to escape the shadow of a great artist parent. It wouldn´t be completely wrong to play this a little Chopin-like, though.

I think it's later work of FXW. Don't forget he died 5 years before Chopin. It's extremely likely he wrote this piece with Frederyk in his ears and heart, although the central part of this elegant polonaise still keeps echos of past classicism of FXW ancestors and teachers. However outer parts of polonaise are chopinesque, no doubt
