Great place to ride, we will be going back soon. have fun.
"Polaris RZR 900S to Mattawa to ride the VMUTS trail system," sounds like an IFR clearance from Air Traffic Contriol.
We where high enough a couple of times that it may well be,
Ed, you need a float plane to close out your career.
I think that's out of my budget.

Sorry, sold the Van, cannot remember where it is located.

Olá Eddy meu nome é Joao e sou Brasileiro, gostei muito do seu video imagens muito bonitas, parabens, um grande abraço.
Now that's what I'm talking about! Eddy, this is Frank. You just commented on my post in ATV riders about finding trails up north. This is a great video and that spot where you pulled over is exactly what I'm looking for on my rides. The drone shots are awesome. Our cabin is not far from the Sequin and we have a youtube channel as well. Not much riding on there yet but I hope that changes. Subscribed!
Excellent video. Simple, to the point and no over-explaining with technical jargon. Also a nice clear consistent focus of the camera. I hate watching a video and right when they start explaining what I need to know, it goes dark or out of focus and I can't tell what they are doing. Thank you.
Amazing video! Good quality, thanks for sharing! I am a van lifer . I love the open road. So cool!
Thanks, not full timers, but we spend many weeks per year on the road.
so this is an 88 with fuel injection? mine is a carb
Yes, first year for the TBI, a lot where converted by owners to carb. I guess there are some 1988 models made with carbs, depends on the date of manufacture.
Nice ride and hike
You didn't loose your steering or brakes just the assist what you had was a bad belt or one that was not installed properly or bad idler pulley bearing something had to cause the belt to fail
Should have bought a ford or a dodge
They use the serpentine belt also. I like my V Belts.
@@user-my8wf6ph5h the gm product is the problem. That and lack of maintenance
I had my boubt about it. No belt drive no Steering, no brakes and could be the same for the alternator. They feed two or three of them. It sucks when it happen in the middle of nowhere. And you guys, you have a trailer. That is not funny at all. Do you cary all kind of parts with you?😊
Just carry stuff like belts and fluids, also trailer wheel bearings and a good selection of tools, had to replace a trailer wheel bearing about 2 weeks later on the side of I75 near Sault St Marie, fortunately tandem axle trailer so had time to pull over.
@@EddyVanTravels usually we carry tire compressor, emergency distress lights, oil depending on how old is it. But belt? Good for you, glad you got away with murder 😳 heuuu, I mean this time
I drive that section a lot. Thankfully you were almost to the upgrade part, just past the Dillion exit. Glad you had the spare part!
Couldn't have picked a better time to brown your pants. I was thinking it better blow before the runaway ramp, but good to see you made it to the bottom.
Good thing that you know how to work on your truck. Most people would just call a tow truck.
if you don't mind saying, what camera are you using to capture these wonderful pieces. thank you, -C
Akaso Brave 7 on the dash and a GoPro silver 7 hand held, The cheaper Akaso has surprised me on the image quality. just bought it to use as a dash cam, but using it more than I expected. GoPro on this video.
Lower gears feather the brake until you feel a definite slow down release the brake allow the lower gears to work until brakes are needed again. Colorado native & Trucker
It is always a good idea to carry a spare serpentine belt. With a low cost of having the spare, it gets you back on the road with safety. Glad you are okay.
The dangerous part was being outside of the car on the hard shoulder. If some mobile phone zombie crashed into to your car you would be dead...
Agree, that was a little nerve racking. we do have the orange cones to put out, but if someone cannot see a 13 foot tall trailer, I doubt they will see a cone.
well at least you did not need the runaway truck ramp
yes, I imagine that would be an interesting ride.
Plus hyperflash.....
Yes, I suspect ground issue with truck, usually goes away when the trailer is attached.
Yup! Just add a Plug n Play resistor to each tail light. Super easy and fast fix.@@EddyVanTravels
Looks like and Itchy Boots trail.
Glad you were able to stop..... Enjoy your future travels together!!
Another case of junk parts sounds like. Common problem these days.
True.
Awesome video and such a beautiful drive!
wise, carrying a spare belt. had this occurred some time in your past? -C
Installed new belt before the trip, kept the old one that was still in ok condition.
Beautiful road
I am from Brazil. It's too beautiful.
It is pretty amazing scenery.
Hello Eddy, I'm have Issues with the same 1988 Dodge B250 with the 318 Camper Van. I considering rebuilding the throttle body (Holley) but we're having trouble finding a replacement because the ID numbers of the throttle body are worn and we can't get a proper ID to order a replacement. My question is do you have the the ID numbers for your Holley throttle body? I"m assuming that yours would be identical to mine. I have the service manual for the vehicle but it doesn't provide the identification of the throttle body only says its a Holley. any guidance would be appreciated.
I am in Canada and got mine here, partsavatar.ca/remanufactured-fuel-injector?model=B+100-350+VANS&make=DODGE&year=1988, I have sold the van, so I cannot look at mine.
Replacing the fuel pressure regulator helped for me.
Looks like a beautiful walk!!
yes, we have done it a couple of times over the years, the trail gets a little sketchy in places.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the video. I JUST git an 88 dodge ram van that turned out to be a lot of trouble... The carburetor is staying dry and I think it's the fuel injectors
Also check the fuel pump, a common failure point on these engines.
Thank you, good video, how many miles had it run when you made this job?
Around 100,000, sat for a few years unused.
nice video, whats the weather like in Feb.cheers
We had great weather, can be cool in the evening and out in the wind.
I have a 91 dakota with the same tbi system did your injectors have 2 orings? I am currently having problems with my swapping my injectors
Only one O ring on mine
I got a 90 Dakota , having problems myself you ever figure out how many orings or figure it.I got fuel shooting out the top of those d ones
Thank you sir. Ive got a 90 w-150 running rough at low acceleration, over 300k on her. Probably the original injectors, maybe this will help.
i have a 91 with the same tbi unit. put about 100k on it on top of the 100k it had when i got it. Gonna do a carb swap eventually, but these things impress me. if im not mistaken its based off a holley unit. anyways good vid bro 👌 ps. i shot some carb cleaner in my map sensor and fucked it up. just an fyi
Thanks, glad it helped
Thank you, truly thank you for the Video. I just inherited a 1991 W150 with 60,000 actual miles and it’s running a little rich and rough. I did new plugs, fuel pump, wires etc it had been sitting for 10 years and now I’m going to replace the Injectors I didn’t know were there lol.. Stay safe Semper Fidelis
I guess it's kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released movies online?
Replace the fuel pressure regulator.
