Hello James I can also confirm it’s an LBSC Speedy 15xx tank engine as it has hook on the rear buffer beam, the tender is not for that engine. Best wishes James

I believe that is a B6b steam switcher based on the shape of the valve gear hangers, but could be wrong - May be a Great Western 15xx, looking at the bufferbeams/draft gear?

Sure that the tender goes with it? Looks more like a speedy pannier tank with a tender body that doesn't belong to it... especially given that rear coupling hook instead of a dragbox/draw bar set up for the tender

Please please please paint the wheel centres black or at least dark grey. As a Canadian rail fan I can tell you that NO Canadian engine ever had red wheel centres. If this is an example of Martin Evans design for the "Canadian Switcher / Caribou" be aware that it is in no way close to an accurate scale representation of any Canadian 0-8-0. There was plenty of photos and some works drawings / erecting cards of 0-8-0's from Canada that Evans could have used to design an accurate model, but he didn't, and it's a shame.

from canada here, I believe thats an 0-8-0 caribou, I have driven a 3 1/2" Gaauge Caribou that looks very similar.
