There are actually 910 or so styles built in to Stable Diffusion 1.5 and XL as well. See the SD 1.5 cheat sheet online for a reference. I wonder how many of the artists were asked beforehand. Probably none. Also just incidentally I think I should point out that stable diffusion overall seems better at generating works that mimic certain styles then Midjourney. Wondering if anyone agree. MJ6's style reference image feature likes to make works that look more like the reference image than you'd get with a LoRA. Great video, by the way. Interesting! Also yes IP is going bye bye.

6:00 something interesting I noticed while watching all these images go by is that they started to blur together. You can really tell what ever AI you used (or multiple) were pulling from the same databases. I had to go back a couple of times to check because some of them looked like repeats lol. Your brother’s art is really nice though! Also, this whole AI thing has made me realized we’ve pulled a 180 with our workers laws and are basically back in the gilded era with the power that these large corporations have. I mean, the fact that these companies creating generative AI have completely just ignored (basically ran over) copyright laws is insane. This last bit sounds a bit crazy but I really think we are in store for a country-wide workers revolution within the next few decades (at least here in the U.S.). Back to AI though, I’m an artist myself and AI has definitely forced me to look at how *I* value my own art. I’ve definitely been more focused recently on enjoying the process over the result and it’s definitely restored some hope and love for art within me. I don’t know if it’s true, I definitely need to do more research on it, but I do hope the US animation guild strikes this summer and earn some leverage over AI developers. It’s crazy how the entertainment industry literally bars multiple guilds from striking at the same time smh.

It's true. Hate AI art, voices, etc. all you want, but they're clearly not going anywhere. They're inevitable and advancing at an alarming rate. At this rate, we could only pray those warmongering military forces around the world don't do their own equivalent to advanced AI, otherwise we'll truly be living the horrific experience of the Terminator films.
