Finally someone with a working brain. Let's make earth Earth again...then go to Mars.

It’s not only about fixing earth. You can still fix earth anytime. You can still make it better, clean it, reduce emissions, asteroid defense and such. That all can be done when all the governments pull their head out of their ass and stop wars, share technology, medicine and resources, but that will never happen because humans are dumb because to the governments it’s about power, greed and control over us. We could be so far more advanced right now if we all wake the hell up. You can still terraform mars because that will take generations to do that so obviously people will still be here on earth and can still stay. Scientists, engineers,etc will be theee first for awhile so be a very long time before regular people go and at first will be the rich obviously and when it’s regular transports we can travel back and forth to earth and mars derrrrrrr. It’s also called learning, exploration and evolving as a civilization. Eventually we will need to go into space and explore anyway so it’s a matter of time so why wait???????? Wake up everyone. There’s more I would like to say but that’s just the basics. Start thinking about the larger picture there is a entire universe out there and everyone wants to be stuck on earth which is is like a smaller then a atom compared to the universe, stop thinking small everyone

This is a common mistake with the fermi paradox. If a civilisations can build a dyson sphere (and use material science to the point of structures that can withstand the gravitational pull that a star would impose) it is far more likley that they would be a quieter civilisation. There is an essentially infinite ♾️ amount of energy within commonly found matter. Even radio waves on earth, we are becoming quieter ourselves. Its impracticable to use radio waves to send sgnals over vast distances of time - lasers dirrected at way points (maybe Lagrange points for galaxies, if they exisit). With relays to boost the dirrected laser. This has already been put forward as an idea for communication in the cosmos. This would also explain the dark forest theory.
