I grew up listening to John Denver's songs. Hundreds of artists have covered this song. But I feel Home Free took this one to another level for me. It is one of my favorite covers of this song. I love everything about it. It is a masterpiece. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group hands down.

Hey again! I just wanted to also make a suggestion to listen to Shawn James' "Through the Valley" - it is country-ish (more bluesy type song), but I think you'll really like it. Shawn has a deep, raspy voice, and it's just a soulful, good song! HOWEVER - don't sleep on Ren! He's an independent artist and an act like you haven't seen before! 😄

Home Free went through a member change in June. Austin ( longish wavy hair ) their high tenor left to be home more and start a family and Adam Bastien has stepped into his place. They released the first video with Adam B about a month ago called Something To Talk About

If you haven't heard Faouzia, you might check her out. 24 yo singer songwriter born in Morocco, raised in Winnipeg. She's not country, sounds more like Adele. Faouzia recently competed on the Singer2024 tv show in China and did a great job. She gets some play on CBC, and was nominated for a Juno in both 2022 and 2023.

I like this Mary Did You Know best among the Lucy & Martha duet songs. After listeng to this song, I always feel today's going to be a god day like you said. Their rendition really makes people happy. That's really great. I wish they were going to sing this one in the coming Tokyo concert. I wish you all a happy day.

This is the 3rd time I’ve watched your Dimash reactions, I’m pretty much convinced that you like reacting to Dimash so I’ve subscribed to your channel. I’m a Dear, has been since 2017, so I’ll only watch your channel when it’s Dimash. No other vocalist will do for me. I do have to admit that Chante is the first duet Dimash had that I like. They had that chemistry. Of course , I’m with you, she needs to get off Dimash.

The two people dancing are the interpreters and musical supporters for Dimash and Chanté: Aray Aydarhan is the man (he was there for Dimash back on 2017 Singer, too).

They should have won this episode. Best performance of the night (in my opinion). It was fire! Chante was eliminated in this round. 😒 But it was the first Singer competition return after several years of being off the air. In my opinion, the producers could not allow foreign singers to win against Chinese well loved professionals. Ah well. At least Fouzia and Chante got a lot of screen time as they both got to the finals. And we got to see and hear Dimash guest star the last two episodes. 🥰

Chance and Tim get all countrified when they sing, and often when speaking, if they're feeling it. Now that Austin (elf here) has left the band, they're a bit short on twang. It only occurred to me listening to them sing Christmas songs that country twang just adds such a nice edge. The new guy, though, is from New York (I think), and Rob (Braveheart here) is from Minneapolis.

Thanks for the reaction. Pity about the rumbling sound throughout the video. Yes, this was bit like their other song Sense, but still a great song.

What to say about these two? Angelic perfection comes to mind. The harmonising is so pure, crisp and clean and their voice blend as only those is siblings can. The message here is powerful and Lucy and Martha deliver that message with heartfelt joy. Thanks Guy for your fascinating and entertaining reaction and for supporting Lucy and Martha.

I love this one! That’s right, they’re larping. Rob is Braveheart, Adam is a wizard/mage, Tim a knight on a dragon, Austin an elf and Chance is a Mandolorian. So funny and yet the song is great! They’re singing of brotherhood while fighting as brothers. Love it!

This was recorded in St Anne’s RC church in Ormskirk, Lancashire near where Lucy and Martha lived at the time. St Anne was Mary’s mother!
