225 WPM is NOT TRUE ! What DEAF MORON posted this PATHETIC NONSENSE ! From 2.00 mins up to 3.00 mins = ONLY 124 words were spoken !
i'm at 160 and was told to start listening to 225 so it doesn't sound so foreign to me. this has been very helpful. thank you!!
why don't they just take video and stop this bullshit for ever? 😀

Video/audio recordings can mess up easily and the audio may not properly pick up during the proceeding. Therefore, it's going to be a big issue when you don't find this until the end of the trial and you can't relive those moments verbatim from what happened in the courtroom so all of those important factors from the trial are lost. That is why you need a live reporter in the room.
@@alissarivas788 they just need 4 microphones and 4 cameras for every corner with good recording quality.
Hard but good dictation.
Please provide 250wpm speed
Great practice! With COVID and slow trials, I needed this. I'm getting a bit out of shape.
I'm working toward 120. I feel like this is the speed I was working at now! lol, I assumed 225 wpm would sound like the fine print at the end of radio ads!
im working on 160s! good luck 👍🏼 🍀
This is faster than 225
Agreed. And I passed all my 225s seven years ago.
@@MK-gt7jt Nope. We've all worked as court reporting instructors and it is at 225 words per minute.
I'm in the 100's wpm
Nice job! Good 4-voice.
This may be a little dated, but what fantastic readers! I wish we had focused more on 4-voice when I was in school. Great! 💯
Very nice but I am Hindi steno boy so if you can provide me dictation in Hindi. Thanks
im in the 45-55 range
why am I here again?
I.m. in the 180's wpm but found this hopefully one. day i will.pick this
I m at the speed of 90 wpm , can u help me increase my speed by suggesting some good shorthand books? Plz msg me at 8800758944
@@PiyushKumar-qb7uc yes i can buddy but 180 wpm is too tough if u are able to write at this speed then its more diificult to read it.
@@muhammadnaffay6280 how did you gained this much speed, please give some tips and another question can i achieve that speed with normal typing instead of TT.
Can someone explain to me how it is possible to Voice-write and take dictation, also? Is it easier to manually transcribe than voice-write? I'm looking into court reporting schools and trying to determine which technique I should seek out. Thanks in advance!
Did you ever get your question answered?
Instructions unclear. All of my fingers are broken.
Please see my channel for thorough preparation 😊 czcams.com/video/bCA9GdkgApM/video.html
Great practice material. Fast but good.
Thank you for the great videos. I also put out steno dictation vidoes on Steno 24/7. Thank you for your support and keep up the great work here. I am a subscriber.
I am preparing for the RPR skills for Tess, and found this to be extremely helpful. Thank you
How'd you do?
What is Tess please guide me with tha
how to write it ohhh my godddd
Terrific!! Claudia and the other readers have done a wonderful job. Thanks so much. Really good practice!
How can I get more of your videos? How many do you have?
This is almost overwhelming... I'm just starting at 25 wpm
Hey, don't let this overwhelm you. I have been working as a freelancer for seven years. You can stop them when they go too fast, and no one talks this fast sustained like this for five minutes. You can do it! (I see your post is 5 years ago. Are you a reporter now?)
@@MK-gt7jt I've done some digging to see if he ever did become a reporter and while the account was active in 2020(as evident by his saved playlist in 2020), there was little to no sign if he had became a reporter. Since this original comment was made so long ago I figured he might be on Facebook (spoiler no luck there as well, a few close matches but still not conclusive enough). What I've figured from my finding is that he probably has a teaching job of some sorts because many of the playlists his made are all science vids for kids. tried my best to find what his up to today but didn't have enough to go off of, anyways have a great day thanks for reading my comment :)
25 wpm ???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I needed this! Thanks for putting it together guys!
ohh this scares me..im in the 80's...
I haven't started school yet...think i'm going to faint now
It will be okay Jane I am in school it keeps geting easier it will for you too. Hang in there okay?
+Gary J in the real world, most depos are done at 220-250 words a minute, with mumbling people.
Great thank you!!!
Thanks for posting this. It's like a tongue twister for fingers.
I'm writing a strong 180 and this is really hard! Thank you.
Thanks for posting this. The siren is an all too common reality of reporting :p
going so fast
Good practice. Thank you!
Very interesting. This video gives me a very good idea what to expect as a Court Transcriptionist, but is way above my speed right now. Hope to catch up soon though.
