Thanks for the video, this will help me get In The Groove with this bike!
Thanks for the video, this will help me get In The Groove with this bike!
Arrived as expected with all parts intact, also included two hex keys for assembly. czcams.com/users/postUgkxwOUUBdw8-88Iu4QnQS7q6b2NwZkHiYVl Had to adjust mine slightly to fit my bike, this was easy enough with instructions. I bought it to train with my track bike and found it to have resistance similar to climbing a slight gradient. Takes a while to learn to balance but there is plenty of guidance to help on the internet. Edit: There was more resistance at lower speeds because of the number of contact points but at higher speeds it is much easier as you don’t have to contend with drag.
Vintage CZcams before apps existed
Watching this in December 2021. Thanks :)
is there a way you can make this work with a swift app?
THANK YOU! I have been trying to figure out what wasn't quite working for SO LONG. This is the only helpful thing I've been able to find (and I've looked a lot!)
Ok nice info but please drop the music. Want to hear what is being said not the music video
Bike hopped of the skewer mount a fling me into the wall . This is dangerous 😸
Looked like the wrong skewer to me...?
It is. That skewer definitely needs swapped out to the one that's literally included in the box with the trainer.
Thanks you made so easy for a tech disabled person. Much appreciated
Ok, so I have had my wheel or sprocket get bent twice with two separate bikes now with this trainer. What on earth am I doing wrong? This is so expensive to fix!
Thank you
How do you adjust the resistance?
Great video, Thanks !!
I can't get my stock skew to work. need to talk about that.
Bought a set yesterday. Your video was a great help, followed your tips and was riding "hands off" after 15 minutes. Thanks very much :-)
It looks like you were kidnapped, held in a basement and forced to make this tutorial, other than that thank you for making it! :D
i bought this need help. i ride track. and have a phil wood hub rear wheel that makes my bike slant a bit off. can anyone help?
Why doesn't the Trek trainer work with Trek bikes? That's disappointing. On Craigslist it goes!
Can i ask if i cycle using roller for 1 hour does it burn my fat?
But i have a problem with my seat coz i can feel d heat at my butt
Ajack Fees lay off the burritos and chili
nice video. So that's what the cells at Guantanomo look like. Who knew?
good article thank you. Q&A session cleared up the key question I had. I don’t have a stationary trainer yet and I was looking to buy the roller system instead but correct me if I am wrong but you advise getting the stationary trainer first for strength and conditioning and add the roller to that for technique?
Im a freacking chicken but now I got confidence,,great video,,thanks,,
Perfect. This is just what I needed to see to attach my bike! Did you use the rear skewer that was already on the bike or the one that came with the Fluid2?
Q: Would this be a good tool for a beginner who has never ridden a bike? TY 4 posting this vid its awesome!
OutlawJJ80 definitely not! You should only use rollers when you’re a experienced rider
Hold the "breaks"?
Broken spelling
@0hsebastian It depends on the bike. It would be best to have it checked out by a local bike shop. They can take a look at your bike to see if it will work on the trainer.
Do you need to change the skewer, do the trainer come with the skewer shown in the video
@airsoftboy1313 More info: You can run a 26” mountain bike on the classic trainers; however, knobby tires will be very loud and cause vibration, and little bits of tire will probably break off, so we suggest using slicks. The Pro Series trainers will take a 29" wheels. If you get a small slick, you might be able to fit a 29er in the classic series trainer.
@airsoftboy1313 Yes
@Nergock If your son's bike has 20" or 24" wheels, you could get a 20/24" Wheel Adapter. Details are on the CycleOps website.
@neilmandude All of our trainers should work fine with 15mm axel nuts. There may be some variation depending on what specific nut is used on the bike, but they can easily be replaced with a set that fits.
Can you use this trainer with a 15mm bolt axle? no quick release mechanism?
well that video was pointless lol whoever cant figure how to put that one in doesnt needa be riding a bike because theyre idiots!
Always be kind to others, as you never know what struggles they might be going through..
Would this fix a child bike? My son has the balance down and is struggling with pedaling and I was wondering if something like this would help him with learning to pedal.
I recently brought a CycleOps Classic Mag Turbo Trainer and am having a nightmare setting it up. It says in the instructions that I must replace the skewer on my bike with the one provided, is this necessary as I don't want to take my bike to pieces just to set this piece of kit up. if I can't do it il'll have to send it back :( Please help!

I'm having a problem with the amount of tension on the exact model displayed in the video. I adjusted exactly as the video shows and it's way to hard even in easy gears. If I move the the tire off the spinner, then it squeaks. It's also pretty noisy..any suggestions?
awesome!
How tight should the roller press on the rear tire? I see quite a bit of tire compression in this video. Is there a manual online? Many thanks!
Thanks so much.... just bought a used fluid trainer with no manual... was really suffering with the mounting sequence. After the video i was riding in the living room in about 3 minutes!
i inherited mine from a family member - he must have kept it. no worries, my friendly local bike shop sold me a new skewer, no problem. thanks!
what bikes can uuse on this trainer
which model is tis????
Very helpful video here. The instructions that came with my trainer (the Fluid 2) were not very helpful. After watching this, I had the bike mounted in no time. They don't mention replacing your skewer with the one supplied with the trainer, but you probably need to.
