This is the same Toyota Hilux which was first introduced in 2017. Compared to other bakkies such as Ford Ranger in this Toyota Hilux you are buying an expensive old new car. I’m pleading with those Toyota Hilux to wait for a brand new Toyota Hilux which will be launched early next year or late next year. The new Hilux will have new platform, new engines and new technology.

I don't understand, get rid of the Audis? I have had 6 Audis (all with more than 120 000kms on the clock). Driving +- 25000ks per year. I've had zero issues with any of them. Service your cars and it will give you zero issues. Only car that gave me problems were my 1.4 Ford Figo. Rubbish.

I have to agree there. I've gone from a bakkie to a crossover SUV and everything changes. Only good thing I get from the crossover is cheaper maintenance cost and easier to park in town but I still prefer the bakkie all day everyday and that isuzu will outlast a lot of cars.😅

Test drove it, incredible power with the hev, only drawback is no diesel option and could be thirty at 12 or 13 l per 100km. This is an amazing off-road medicine, far better than any other option on the market. And so quiet too. Really amazing vehicle

I need some guidance on a family SUV. Looking for something in the range of R350k. My options are quite wide in the Corolla Cross, VW T Cross, Kia Sonet, Suzuki grand vitara. Looking for something with min 4 airbags, a reverse camera, fuel efficient, and a solid warrenty. Any advice for my price point. I'm not looking for a Chinese Brand.

I’ve been watching tons of videos on this car over the past year, mainly Russian (with CZcams auto-translate captions). It looks like this car really appeals to those people who (like me) has always wanted an off-road capable car but has never been able to find a suitable choice between the Jimny/Dusters on one end and the Prados/Land Cruisers/Land Rovers on the other end. That’s a pretty huge price gap in the market, with the Fortuner the main threat. I would really love to get this car, if a stripped-out version existed at a lower price point (cloth seats, no sunroof, no driver assistance). Still, I can see myself in one of these when my current car is up for replacement ent in the next 12 months.

Jimny might be tiny and slow but I think I would take it over this.
