I'm not anti-mobile home, but I am anti-moble home park. The owners regularly jack up the rent each year, and for some, it gets to the point where they can't afford to live in the mobile home they own

How much is lot rent

600 a month for lot rent. I'm paying 600 a month for a whole entire house in South Carolina. That's 3 bedroom with parking at big backyard and paying $600 a month. In a house. Not a trailer, a house and that's what I'm renting the house. That's what happens when you buy AI was in a mobile home one time. And every year they only give you a 1 year lease every year, your lot rent goes up 15 to 20%. Figure it out, so if you're there 5 years. Mobile homes do not appreciate in value.They depreciate so if you're paying $34900. For that mobile home in 5 years it's gonna be it's going to be at Leach $,10000 less or even more than thand you're going to be spending more and lot rent. It's not worth it.

If it were me, with the market being locked up the way it is, I'd be low balling offers in parks with land lease and go from there. The HOAs in land owned is getting ridiculous

I didn’t always have soft floors but it started on half that had the vinyl. I have a well and it started corroding the waterline connections. I had to peel bad the vapor barrier to repair them. I noticed that they would stiffing back up during the winter. Well since my back surgery I’m gonna go back and replace and seal up all of it. The cold air from my a/c seeps right through the floor

Lot rent above $1k is fine if there are superb amenities. Otherwise, $14,400.00 per year to live in a “trailer park” is no just no. In five years that’s $72,000.00 just thrown out the window 🪟 😮🎉
