No, it is actually on it. Pet does not buff you, and there are times when your buffs are running it but you’re on dark sight so they don’t buff you (used to be like that, haven’t tested if it’s still the same); but personally, I feel a little bit more anxious when buffs are running out (hidden blade is only 90s duration), so I still buff it manually anyways, just to clear my mind that it’s still there (and of course habitual from ages ago), just like how I still buff up mirror image from time to time if you watch my bossing vids (hidden blade animation is very short, doesn’t really affect the game play).

In my opinion, playing a game/a server is just a matter of choice. What I am seeing is, a maple that is either slightly better than how it used to be or just the same as it was when I returned 5 years ago. Obviously, if you compare between servers, other server May seems to be better, KMS cubes are cheaper, more popularity means equipments are more affordable, sol erda fragments are tradable and so on; GMS/reboot progression is way quicker (my friend started there and already clearing black mage soon within 2 months). And yes obviously msea has got lots of improvement that they could do that they haven’t, that to me, is a misopportunity (for them), my friends are mostly still playing it, we are running party bosses still, progressing still, and of course we are enjoying ourselves even though it might seems to be a bad idea to others, it’s just a decision I (and the others that are playing) that we made.

When you hold/charge up a charging arm (bobbing/weaving/hammer smash) and release, you activate a ‘in-the-motion’ guard/shield whatever it’s called, reducing incoming damage by 40% and also anti-knock back, if you can time tht with any bosses’ push, you can antiknock back and also reduce incoming damage. This can be done also with charging up bobbing/weaving -> hold devastation (antiknock back and anti status effect at the same time) -> release bobbing weaving to cancel the animation to not let the ‘devastation’ goes into cd. This can be useful for when platform drops, and stuff falling on you and not get stunned/pushed. The other way you can do is to combo while keep moving behind lotus so that you’re always behind him and avoid his attack range (the front)

Basically what I do in my videos, and it can vary with situation and the availability of different seed ring, -cd helm, etc but mainly is phantom blow - tornado - Karmic - blade storm - asura - phantom blow - tornado - karmic Do also have a look at how to burst with origin, if you are interested, and also I will be updating a sewer video soon.

Depending on your fund, if you aiming to aim to get -4s on hat; if not hat first, cd helm change db play style by a lot, and you still can benefit from %LUK from glove, in my opinion

I am using -3s hat! Didn’t have a -4s hat opps; also I’ll be doing an equipment showcase after hexa cubes come along in msea so mid February, can have a look that time!

If the last part never comes in the ror duration you might want to consider start the burst with origin: Ror3-origin(3s)-phantom blow-Haunted Edge-Tornado-Karmic(2s)-BladeStorm(5s) -> leaving 2-3s for Asura -> origin final hits takes phantom blow + haunted edge + tornado karmic + full blade storm to proc final hit The last part of origin hits very hard, I would rather minus 1 tornado karmic within ror than missing that last hit; that being said, it’s still good to burst with ror3 outside origin-burst. I have been using ror3 long time ago; only switched to ror4 when I gotten it through seed box a few months before they changed it

Equipment progress reliant/dependent; but generally ROR3 > WJLR4 or equivalent; GMS might be difference since tiering up is easier = higher stat % = benefit more from weapon jump ring

Yes that’s what I did - you can now custom-mode blood for blood to click once into phase 2; or use it with down key to go into phase 2 right away without the custom-mode; You can also hear the different sound effect if it goes into phase 2 comparing to phase 1

Different situation requires different solution I would say. You could see that I erda bind first before buffing up in lucid p2, 1 to prevent her from going into powerful attack, 2 to prevent her from moving away; you could see that I am in a safe position in heretic hilla so I went for my usual rotation in the rotation video with erda bind comes after blade storm; in djunkel the situation was too dangerous so I final cut before ror to be 100% safe and follow by usual rotation. Imo this is rather situational and risky rotation, but should be close to being the best rotation as your cd starts moving for hauntededge tornado karmic while in origin’s animation and it links up perfectly after blade storm, though it might be a lot safer to ror then origin first, that way you probably gonna either miss out a bit more from asura or miss out second HE tornado karmic within the ror (unless ror5), but this case will need to see how much cd helm you’re using and also your phantom blow mastery since you’ll be adding more phantom blow in ror duration. I have tried origin first and they aren’t too far away from each other, so works very well either way, see which one you like better! But lmk what you think too after trying :D

Yes it is, because there are gonna be times when the boss not touching your mirror image hence losing out damage, especially first burst (also when you bind and burst, it’s sure that shadow meld won’t trigger, unless lomien final phase touch damage/bm p2) - shadow meld is only extra damage in boss, it is a reliable 100% crit rate for mobbing though. You need 87% crit rate unbuffed, with dco +dse should be able to cover up the rest.

Hmmm not totally sure, 1 line ied (or totally without is fine) the rest balanced between att and bd ba, 12/9/30 12/9; 40/9/9 12/9, something like that? But imo any 3 liner main pot with just att and bd is keepable, for now my WSE is all 2 liner+ only (I am almost ready for a kalos party?)… so not sure how things will scale. Will be spending most fragments on Blaster now, but see how things are, maybe after Blaster liberated or ready to solo hlucid, I will jump back to dual blade very quickly! This update made me really want to play dual blade but liberation is on the go now for Blaster so… :3

Flash bang will trigger thief link, if buff after flash bang, good chance is that half of the thief link duration 18% damage is gone; I have 64% buff duration (second line IA buff duration 34%) so technically my ab link is longer; also bfb has got way shorter skill delay, it’s safer and faster to start the burst right after bfb comparing to after ab link. Ideally flashbang should be on before anything, but as a first burst in any boss, thats what I do to not lose out in thief link skills and still have all my burst within Ab link + bfb + ror4 duration. ^ that would be my take, also a reason why I think buff duration in db IA second/third line is important! Let me know what you think :3

@@twoswordwing5249 I run 20% skip with 10bd + 8 debuff, so the lineup works either way as long as the whole thing is under the 30s of b4b. Buff duration so far for me hasn't been an issue with just a monlife ark + mechanic Union along with merc. Also with the coh/fc skips as backup in bosses

Yeah I guess it’s different play style, I went for the more aggressive ones, bfb always on phase 2 (15s) for more damage, Ab link 15s, and seed rings 15s
