Did you end up taking apart your Pico 3? I was just curious as I wanted to try some gearvr lenses in it to see how it looks and what the distortion looks like. I think some of it could be corrected in PCVR mode. The sweetspot on my Pico 3 Pro is very small .... maybe 15% off center and then its to blurry to read text

Just saw this was your most recent vid up and I need help :( I'm an arcade owner and just purchased 12 Pico Neo 3 Pro Enterprise headsets, but just realized that the headsets only go up to 4.7 and i think i need 5.6 to update the app store for it to show Virtual Desktop. This is super crucial cause I'm using Steam VR. I don't know if I can upgrade it while still keeping the Kiosk mode which is made for arcades because i just turn it on and that function should hypothetically send customers straight to steam vr without all the struggle of setting up each headset for them. Please can you help or recommend something for me?

Just bought a dock with gigabit ethernet will try it out later tonight with the ethernet straight into it and the standard pico charger. Does anybody recomend charging with more power?

I tried this and after restarting; I now had 2 sets of hand-controllers: Some 5-fingered hands and the Index standard controllers. It only tracked the 5 -finger ones, but NOT inside the game... i.e. could not use it anymore. Reinstalled old settings and the 5 finger hand disappered...

I tried that, but it's strange since it's supposed to be disabled, but it stays. I don't know why. I'll check if the Pico guys changed the app repository name or something in the last update and let you know. One question, can I downgrade to an older version?

Hi. My son today got a Pico neo 3 pro that he decided to get from eBay... apparently it had the regular store before he was prompted to do an update and then it only had the for Business app store with limited stuff. Is there a way to restore the normal store or some other way that he can play regular games? Sorry im totally ignorant to the world of vr headsets but have seen that this neo 3 pro one is more specifically for "business" use but is there a way to use for regular gaming please?? Thanks in advance

Maybe there are better hints, but i would guess a broken tooth, so dissassemble, check and clean the laser tray.
For this older gear, you can often find repair manuals on the internet, that would help you find the problem.
@@rickydeldo8596 it ended up being a fuse on the power supply. And I had a diode catch fire on it. It worked for a second lol after fuse replacement

i was so happy that it might work, but i havent been able to make it work. I live in China and for some reason its not letting me log in using email. even though i registered using pico global, after i follow the instructions, it says that my user doesnt exist. idk if its an issue with VPN? i am connected to the router, and the vpn is working only on y laptop and phone, but i cant run it on the pico to accessthe global store maybe... what do you think Owomushi?

WOAH!!!! 😳 A fellow laserdisc collector, welcome brother!!!!😁👍 Oh my God!!! I got the same collection of Maho Tsukai Tai!!! Back in 1997, I was at an anime convention in California called Anime Expo. I was hunting laserdiscs at that time, and I found a few copies of that anime. Later on, I was at a local Japanese anime shop in northern California, and they had the rest of the volumes to complete the set!!! An expensive investment but was worth it!! It's a great show, it's made by the same people who created Sailor Moon. The character designs are the same, I have an enormous collection of anime laserdiscs going back to the late 1980s!!! And I am still collecting vintage laserdiscs from Japan!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

I suggest trying to find a pioneer plasma tv. Mine was $8000 in 2008, I still have it and now you can find them for less than $300 Their colors and blacks are perfect for the VhS, laserdisc and other media of the time. Also, my pioneer is better than the $1000 new tv we bought for our guest room

hey sorry for the unrelated comment but i've watched I think all your videos on trying to get Arc to work with your Pico. Just thought I should ask would you possibly consider trying to get the Lossless Scaling(Frame Generation) app on Steam to work in VR applications? Just cuz you seem to tinker with stuff to try your best to get it to work. I'm trying to do it this very moment with my Vive Pro and Arc but not having much luck, I mainly want to use this Lossless Scaling application for VRChat specifically. Thanks!

If it's really the connector's fault, just solder it directly to the board, keeping in mind what pin goes where. You could also replace that ribbon cable with a longer one in the eventuality that you need to service the player again.

@@mttw_8058 it was the front panel. It was sending random commands to the player making it not work. I can't believe it was that. None of the videos had this issue when I was looking at how to fix. Most said a new belt. So hopefully it helps someone
