ASEAN Dengue Day
Since 2010, member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN commemorate dengue fever or dengue fever day.
Considering that ASEAN countries are dengue endemic areas, dengue day was established at the 19th summit in Hanoi on October 30, 2010.
The purpose of dengue day commemoration is to increase national and inter-ASEAN commitment to dengue fever control efforts. Both prevention, countermeasures, to management. So that the incidence and death rate due to dengue fever can be suppressed.
