RESTORATION OF Abandoned ANTIQUE CHAIRS IN A FIREWOOD KITCHEN - INTERIOR RESTORATION
Hello everyone !
Today I restored an antique chair with good quality wood, even if left outside in the rain and sun, it is unlikely to be damaged or termite-ridden. It consisted of many damaged chairs so the owner put it in a wooden warehouse. I reused the parts that fell off and pieces of old wood that were the same type of wood as it but couldn't match the color because of time. different pieces of wood. I had to use a wood stain to clean the missing piece of wood in a different color so it would closely match the wood color of the chair. In the end it was finished beautifully, almost like new although the cracks were still visible. I use rudimentary tools so I cannot avoid mistakes and imperfections. I hope to receive everyone's comments and sympathy to gradually improve. Thanks a lot.
Everyone who watches the video, remember to leave a comment telling me which country you are from. Wishing everyone a good day.

Hi everybody ! This is an old woman's nightstand from her time as a teacher. It hadn't been used for a long time, so she put it in the warehouse, where the rats used it to store their bones and food. I worked very hard to remove many layers of varnish and bring it back to its original color. Now it looks more attractive than before. Beautiful job more than I expected🎉🎉🎉
👏👏 Te he visto desde Aragón, España.
Sehr tolle Restauration, Mega👍👍👍
The simplicity in which you work, no expensive tools and big name brand staines etc. WOW! That stain was like magic! What a beautiful save on the chair. Well done sir 🇺🇸👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼❤️
Good job I welcome from Poland🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱

That wood is SO pretty. Very nice job.
Thanks
Did no one notice the giant cockroach
Sorry for kicking him out of his residence
Very satisfying!
Thanks
The wood grain is gorgeous. You’ve done a great job on this chair.
Thank you for liking it
You did a beautiful job! My question is … wouldn’t the front edge of the seat of the original chair have been curved? The rest of the chair is gracefully curved.
That's right, the board follows the chair frame, but the front edge is a sharp angle
Красота
Thanks
What a beautiful craftsmanship.

Just wow! Good job.
Thank you very much
Excellent restoration colour of the wood is beautiful
Thank you for liking
While i can understand all the criticisms on using acrylic, from a functional point of view, all those cracks and the plastic bag fillers would have been a dietary nightmare. At least this way it is functional and hygienic.
Thank you for your feedback. The mortar was used as a display item and is no longer in use.
Oh goodness look at the cockroach!
Looks great, I just hope its for decoration now...
Thank you. it was taken away to be decorated as a souvenir
Should have used wood filler instead of epoxy for a more sympathetic restotation
Thank you for your opinion.
I really like the chair, its simple and I'll bet comfortable. You made it look nice something I'd want in my house. Nice work, smartly done!

Good job
Thanks
The only thing I do not like is the exposed nails. It spoils the look. Perhaps you could use wood dowels instead.
Thank you for your comments
That is some beautiful wood. I think that wood is the kind that does not decay due to the natural oil content in it. Under all that dirt was a gem.
That's right, this wood is not destroyed by termites.
Wow beautiful!
Thanks
Yes, it's got a Nice Grain. Not Quite as Pretty as the Red Wood I've seen You Work with. Is it Native to Your Vietnam?
That's right. This wood is from Vietnam
Looks so much better now, like some one loves it.

...Should have just cleaned it up and saved it as an artifact.
Thank you . Next time I will try to learn from experience.
Meh it's just an opinion, you do you.@@FurnitureRestoration1
Could have
Sorry, you did a bad bad chop job on that beautiful antique. Super glue.... are you kidding me? Wood glue. Unless you know what you are doing just don't do anything to it. You don’t jam more wood into splits it pushes the wood further apart. Wow shocking.
Next time I will learn better
