Returned to Command and Conquer Renegade after a long time away footage from September to December 2023 as I got back up to speed. Certainly a retro PC title now a 2002 release by EA, developed by Westwood. Brings FPS to the great Command and Conquer RTS series. This has a fabulous multiplayer and I was member of the TheKoss2 clan (TK2). I hope to see many more TK2 players return and new people...

Originally intended for a series of smaller videos but time, stress and life got in the way. Here is a compilation of all things I did. There were separate videos for the aerial and bonnet. I only found an email saying I would be on Concours a couple of weeks before. It was a mad rush!
Changing the 1993 Corsa B bonnet for a 1999 scrap one all on my own.

Your GG and Retro six adapter is how I was playing this cart too 😂. I got it to put in my INTEC deck on an Arcade1up, but it won’t work on there, so I bought a SMS.
Great video!! Do you know if this works ok up scaling ordinary video output from a VCR using an RGB SCART output?
Sadly not as most VCRs just output composite even through their SCART connectors. I was lucky enough to find a VHS/DVD combo drive that had HDMI for VHS capture.

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve sunk hours in this from 05 to 2016. Made friends and started playing again last year. Never found anything else quite like it. Great to see a new wave of Steam players injecting life into it again.

I just got a Fusion and the fit is extremely tight. I'm scared to snap something. How were you able to eventually get the cartridge slotted in all the way?
With more force that felt comfortable. Still need to get a working MVS cart to try out. Still great device for what it will deliver!

With a Master System adaptor for the Mega Drive.
Really cool Mark! Didn't know you could get any arcade hardware running at home without a supergun. Cool that these have a VGA out so all you need is a controller board.
Neglected to mention couldn't get a supergun working with this, hence this very funky IO board. I didn't know either until clearing the garage I thought I better check if things have moved on - and there is new stuff like this MP07-IONA. Marvellous! VGA out does make life easier too!

Thanks, great question and it has occurred to me I have yet to capture video from it yet. Must do that, I'd like to get some stuff from my Sam Coupe and Amiga. Will do in future! I expect it will do well.

2:12 I sure remember the indicator sounding like that, it is so distinct from the electronically generated sound on the Corsa D. Did not expect that wheelspin soon after. Straight pipe and cold air intake soon?
for MOT will have to leave the cat on the car, I'll be keeping it standard. The indicators of that generation have a unique sound!
I know you want to add some mods, anyone who wheelspins in a Corsa is back at 3 am waking up their neighbours with 0.1mm ground clearance and a massive spoiler. All seriousness though, keep it original, unless it is a mod by the Twin Engine Corsa, I don't like seeing Corsas being modified into whatever abominations teenages can come up with.@@retrogaming_loft
The crease in the door is created when someone has tried to open the door by bending it outwards.
Yeah it’s horrendous. Probably won’t find a satin red door anytime soon so will have to live with it for now.

It Looked like an awesome day! I'm gonna try and make this one next year. I almost bought a Sintra in 2006, but dived out of the deal at the last minute and bought a Zafira instead. I did like the sliding doors on the Sintra, but the Zafira's seating arrangement was way superior.
The Zafira was probably the best choice all round and especially on safety terms. But today the Sintra is king! I would recommend going and hopefully see you next year!
Ahhh "The Pammy" I'd forgotten all about those.. But, no doubt I drank a few in my time.

Was very very happy to see this car in furious's video, great to see more of it here. I do dream of a day where I could bring my own K plated Corsa which I used to be a passenger of to this event. 1.2 GLS, which seems to be very rare as I mostly find them on 1.4s if it is a GLS. Dark metallic blue, though I can't figure out the exact name of the paint, maybe you might know what I mean. It has no MOT or tax since 2015 though the DVLA still holds information on the vehicle which leads me to believe it has been abandoned to rust, why it failed MOT. If it is abandoned, hopefully the rust has not worsened too much so it can be rescued.

How much left would you say is left to do with this car?
The interior fabric on the door cards needs gluing back on to the board. And some more finesse on the bodywork patching up some rusty bits. It is the best currently it has ever looked under my ownership. I'm really happy with it right now.
It might be a bit of an ask, but do you think you could do a dash view drive of this car once that is all done, I feel like the whining noise in furious's video kind of let it down a bit
@@danielrolesu5000 I didn't realise at the time it was a fault. I assumed that was the correct engine note. I agree now I know that is wrong, it is a shame. I don't have any camera equipment for filming a POV drive yet - I am thinking about it. I will do one when I get a GoPro style camera in future!

I thought the difference would be much more obvious, but it's not really possible to see. I wonder if there are any differences at all between a phase 2 and phase one bonnet.
Just the diameter of the washer pipes and fixtures were smaller. All good and very happy with the finish!

I was a big fan of Champ Man in the 90s but didn't have a PC. I agree it is a great track and probably heard by very few people hence I put it up!

Hi there, sadly not for most VHS players. OSSC needs a RGB scart output which games machines can do. Very few VHS players do this from what I gather. You would probably have to revert to the cheap composite to HDMI solution that I compared to in this video.

thank you for the review/first hand experience with the kaico. this is definitely going to be the thing to get for going back to the "retro" systems of our past. being able to see what we remember our games looking like is a true nostalgic feeling

Nice, I am deffo gong to get one this week I think. I'm not entirely clear though, on which cable(s) are going from the SMS to the OSSC, and which type of cable(s) go from the OSSC to the monitor? Could you please let me know what you are using?
RGB scart lead from the Master System I to the OSSC. Then a HDMI out from the OSSC to my LCD TV. Does that help?
